Susan sent me these great deals she found at WinCo:
I just went this morning to the Vancouver store (136th/Mill Plain)
They have ALL their Easter bulk for .48 lb. (except chocolate)
Corned Beef (round cut) for $1.99 lb. They are located in the middle aisle meat counter. They are dated May 17
Fresh Extra Lean Ground Beef (15% fat) -$3.18 lb.
Mrs. Wages Lite Fruit Pectin – $1.80 (they are $2.99 at the Mrs. Wages website) The Certo brand is $3.09 I looked at the ingredients- the same!! Same weight, too.
Got 14 cinnamon sticks (around 3″ long) in bulk to make Watermelon Rind Pickles. Although they are $3.82 lb, my bag was .67
The McCormick’s jar – 5 or 6 of the same size sticks was $5. xx !!
I bought a few cases of canning jars (not too soon to get ready!) I checked around and WinCo beats everyone- including Amazon!
Thanks, Susan!

I make my own taco seasoning mix from the bulk bins at Winco.
I know what exactly is in my mix and I get so much more for less money. There is a great recipe on allrecipes.com

The Longview store had a display with McCormick’s coupons that made for two free grill mate packets after $1.00 off two, and marinade for .28 after $1.00 off one.

I always buy my spices there in bulk-WAY cheaper-even if they are $10 a #-most spices hardly weigh anything so way less than $1. Also you can get the quantity you want-regular jars of spices are too much for me to use.

McCormick’s taco sauce mix foil envelopes (regular and mild) are two for $.46 with $.50/2 cpn from Sunday’s paper.
Brittany from Frugal Living NW says
Nice. Is that after coupons?
Howard says
Yes, after cpns–$.48 each is the shelf price.
