One thing I really wish was that my winco receipts would show the per pound price on meat. When I get home, put away all the groceries, and look back through my receipt(s), it just says what I paid for the meat, not the per pound price the way produce is listed. I assume it is because the produce is weighed at the checkstand and the meat is weighed in the meat department. I would really love to see a place online where I can look up the current(ish) prices of meat (at least ground beef) to compare the per pound price to Costco or Zaycon. What do you think of this idea? Grocery shopping with frugality in mind is such a full time job sometimes. Thanks for all you do. I love hearing what you have to say on the radio, too, btw! 🙂
