Usually the produce, like cabbage and broccoli, are reasonable in january, but Winco wanted 98 cents lb for cabbage, and 1.98 for broccoli today. We will settle for fresh salads

I hear ya!! I wanted a tomato to slice up for salmon burgers, and they were over $4 lb. for less-than- eye-appealing ones. I passed.
QFC has broccoli crowns or cauliflower for .99 lb. this week. Also large navel oranges for .69 lb.
