Menu Plan by FLNW reader, Natalie
I currently live in North Central Florida. I was born and raised in Ohio. I have a daughter that lives in Ohio, and I made her a cookbook for Christmas last year which inspired me to start a blog, Creative Yummy Cooking 101, to share my recipes.
My husband doesn’t like chicken so my meal plans are made up of beef and pork. There are only two of us since our kids are grown so all of my recipes only use one pound of meat and make approximately four servings.
Most of my meals cost around $5.00 to make unless they contain a lot of cheese. I buy ground chuck when it’s on sale and stock up. I make bags with one pound in each and stick them in the freezer. I also go to a grocery store that sells five packages of meat for $19.99 which is approximately one pound of round steak, cube steak, shoulder steak, or Italian Sausage. In addition to saving money on meat I also make homemade gravy, homemade spaghetti sauce and homemade taco and chili seasoning.
Here’s what’s for dinner at my house this week:
Monday — Swedish Meatballs with Egg Noodles
Tuesday — Crockpot Sausage & Peppers (You can make sandwiches or serve with pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.)
Thursday — Leftovers
Friday — Mongolian Beef, Chinese Fried Rice with Vegetables
Saturday — Lasagna Roll Ups with Homemade Chunky Meat Sauce, Garlic Bread (This batch of sauce makes a lot so I usually make Baked Ravioli or Cheesy Baked Penne with the leftover sauce.)
Sunday — Leftovers and Tres Leches Cake (This cake is made with a boxed cake mix. It’s easy & delicious!)

When I click on the Mongolian Beef it tells me the blog is no longer available. Any suggestions to get the receipts??
