I no longer get the Sunday paper and the internet coupons have hurt my computer in the past, so it seems senseless to see deals where you have to have a Sunday paper coupon. I see where RiteAid offers sunday coupons included in their prices..so I wonder why they don’t just offer to ring up the coupon from the paper at the checkstand since they advertise the use of these coupons. It would make it much more customer friendly…along with their confusing UP rewards, etc. thanks

Several retailers, including FM and Safeway, have online coupons for registered cardholders, that often duplicate those in the Sunday papers and can be loaded to your shopper card. RA has a load to card program, but I don’t know enough about it to compare it to anything. Obviously they have to have the physical coupon in order for the store to receive credit for it; they can’t just arbitrarily hand you a free discount. But you should check out the online uploads and get what benefits you can. Also, this flnw website often has online webinars in which you can get the Weds/Sun Oregonian for $19.99 a year. I get 3, and it’s worth every cent.
