I was told that they would not take the $2/1 Rite Aid store coupon from weekly ad and the $2/1 Irish Spring Gear coupon because they are both manufacturer coupons. Are there some Rite Aids taking both?
Yes, they take both. There’s a limit of one in-ad cpn per transaction, although some cashiers allow multiples. I spent several years refusing to stack the cpns, until I was convinced by a cashier and an experienced RA couponer that it is legit. Note that the $2 mfr cpn is good on Irish Spring bar soap and both IS and Gear body washes–but not on the Gear antiperspirant. It has a WalMart logo, but mine scanned Sunday with no problem or argument. Sometimes the in-ad RA cpn even contains language advising that there’s also a Sunday newspaper mfr cpn.
