Time for another Stitch Fix reveal! And it’s super fun this time because I partnered with Stitch Fix to show you how my surprise box of clothing and accessories made my vacation packing super easy!
My family and I went on an eleven day road trip around Arizona and Southern Utah hitting SIX National Parks, so I asked for items that I wanted specifically for the trip, like denim shorts I could hike in, a fun bag with a zipper, a summer dress that didn’t require a special bra, and the perfect all-purpose sweatshirt or light-weight zip jacket for chilly nights.
Let me tell you, my Stitch Fix stylist DELIVERED. I absolutely loved every item she sent me (which doesn’t happen with every box and that’s okay). And because I loved and kept all five items she sent, I got a 25% discount on everything!
Here’s how Stitch Fix works:
Stitch Fix is a personal styling service and Stitch Fix stylists learn what you like to send you clothes you’ll love. Stitch Fix carries women’s sizes 0-24W and XS-3X, maternity, petite, and men’s sizes XS-XXL.
You pay $20 to have your Fix curated by a personal stylist, which applies towards anything you keep. Returns are easy and free. Keep what you love, send back the rest in your pre-paid envelope at any USPS mailbox. If you keep all five of your Stylist Picks, you get a 25% discount on your entire purchase.
Schedule a box HERE and fill out the style profile and note to your stylist.
And if you schedule a Fix for delivery in June, you’ll be entered to win a getaway anywhere in the continental U.S. from Stitch Fix! Ten grand prize winners will win their dream vacation.
Go HERE to schedule to receive a Fix by June 30th to enter to win.
Here’s what I received (and kept) from my June 2018 Stitch Fix box:
Mix By 41 Hawthorn Ashbury Essential Knit Top — $21 with 25% discount ($28 without discount)
I often request that my stylist not send basics in my Fix as I am pretty good at shopping for solid tees and the like myself, but this time I went with whatever she sent.
And I’m glad as this top is a great layering piece. It’s meant to be form fitting, and it is, so it’s going to work best as a to under a denim jacket or the Athleisure Jacket my stylist sent me (see below). I especially like the elbow-length sleeves and the scoop neckline.
I normally wouldn’t purchase this particular top on it’s own, but it would have been more to keep four items at full price than keep five items and get the 25% discount.
Vigoss Francess Released Hem Short — $36 with 25% discount ($48 without discount)
I was crazy specific with my requests with this fix. I asked my stylist for a pair of denim shorts, 4 inch inseam (no more, no less), slight distressing, and a raw hem as the folded cuff style just draws attention to my thighs.
If you can believe it, my stylist FOUND A PAIR that met all of my requirements. These Vigoss shorts are super comfortable and will only look better and better and my legs lose their wintery glow. (Denim + tan legs always look better.)
Fantasia Accessories Aulora Striped Tassel Tote — $25.50 with 25% discount ($34 without discount)
I asked for a fun bag and this one hit the spot! It’s well-made and it ZIPS! I used it daily on the trip as our swim bag, my car bag, and a colorful handbag when we went out to dinner every evening.
And the price is just right for me. I would gladly pay $25.50 for this bag if I ever ran into it in a store.
MPG Sport Saydee French Terry Athleisure Jacket — $51 with 25% discount ($68 without discount)
This jacket is everything to me. It is fairly fitted, has a hood that accommodates my giant head, and has thumb holes! Plus the color is fun.
I wore the jacket/hoodie on the airplane then promptly left it, along with the rest of the family’s jackets and sweatshirts, in our condo in Moab, so you get an awesome picture of me trying it on during my Facebook Live.
This item is a bit more expensive than I usually pay for a hoodie, but after wearing it a bit, I am thrilled to pay $51 for the world’s perfect zip-up sweatshirt.
Kaileigh Holt Brushed Knit Dress — $40.50 with 25% discount ($54 without discount)
I love this dress. I specifically asked, as I always do, for a dress that I can wear my regular bra with. Request granted! This dress is super soft and fits me perfectly.
It’s a bummer that I didn’t have a chance to actually wear it during our trip (no one had the energy to dress up for anything after a long day of hiking!), but I can’t wait to wear it this summer.

Ready to have a personal stylist send you five amazing items for your next vacation (or to make your everyday more fun)? Here are some tips to packing with Stitch Fix:
- Create a Pinterest board and give your stylist the link. Fill the board with pins of clothing you love and activities you’ll be doing while on your trip.
- Give your stylist a specific list of what you want and what you don’t want in your Fix. I find the more specific I am, the more success I have with my Fixes.
- Leave 1-2 items as a surprise. I often say “Send me a fun top for the beach” or “Anything that will work on a hike.” You never know what your stylist will find for you.
- Explain your body type to your stylist. Tell her/him if you need longer dresses or fitted tops or shorter shorts.
- Know that if you get a piece that is “out of the box” for you personally, you’ll get a styling card with suggestions on how you can wear that piece.
