Found much the same deals in Cheney, WA. Trail Mix $1/lb, Walnuts $3.25/lb, Pecans $4/lb, Veggie Chips $2.75/lb, Dried Cranberries $2/lb. Good to know the packaged nuts & fruits are included. None of those were signed. Gonna head back & see if I can get some almonds.

UPDATE!
The company(NW Delights) that provides the bulk fruit/nuts in my area, is either going out of business or already has; hence the reduction in price. I went to 3 stores here in King County WA; Covington, Maple Valley & Kent. They also had dried ginger for $1.25lb. The trail mix(any kind), cranberries were $1lb. The almonds were $2.49lb. & manmgo was $1.75lb. The price reduction(75%) also applied to their prepackaged containers of those items as well as dried cantalope, turkish apricots. An awesome deal!!! Be aware that the register was hit/miss are far as these reductions go, so write down each price and make them aware when you go through checkout.

The Safeway at Murray Hill in Beaverton did have those deals marked on the bins, but all the bins were empty. 🙁 Thankfully I still got my free conditioner, cheap bags and hand soap. And there were packages of organic chicken for half off…

It truly helps if we know what store Krista got these good deals from. My local store in Auburn WA had zip. I am now going to call surrounding ones rather than waste my gas on a fruitless’ effort.

OMG! The trail mix deal was awesome. I found it by accident in Astoria, and I filled up!!!

It appears that Safeway is getting rid of their currently carried brand of dried fruit and switching to a line of Safeway branded products that are 2/3 of the price. If that is the case then I would say that all Safeway’s would be participating in the clearance.

I wonder whether all stores are taking part in this deal. I used to consume a lot of fruits and nuts, till someone told me You are what you eat.
