Looking for some fun baking recipes for you and your troops this New Years Eve? Check out Safeway’s Pinterest boards for some sweet inspiration. I found a fun Sugar Cookie Pop recipe and Nate and I went to work making the dough.

The rest of the kids helped with the decorating.

    We bring our kids over to our friends house and we have great food, games, and conversations. We all watch the ball drop and then its off to bed.

    I’m kind of a party pooper. I just get comfy at home and watch the fireworks and festivities on tv.

    Little sausage weenies wrapped in bacon and sprinkled with bown sugar and put in the oven for a little bit. Mmmmm. About to o prepare them soon.

    We were married on new years eve, started the ceremony just before midnight, and was pronounced just after 12am!! So, every year it is a celebration of our marriage, and a new year!

    Great giveaway! Gym, then will be staying in tonight with my boyfriend and puppy dog where it’s warm (a nice high of 13 degrees today!), making dinner, having cocktails and streaming the New Years Countdown online!

    I like to let my kids watch a New Year’s Eve video in the evening (ie. Max and Ruby, or Sesame Street) so they can celebrate before they go to bed.

    Sleeping is my fav New Years Eve activity. With 3 small kids, I can’t remember the last time I stayed up!

    Snowballs… vanilla ice cream shaped into a ball and rolled in white chocolate shavings. Stick a candle in the middle, light it, and it turns into a competition to see who can eat the most ice cream without letting the candle fall.
