Most of these deals use a Safeway double coupon, which is available at Oregon & SW Washington (Wahkiakum, Cowlitz, Clark, Skamania & Klickitat Counties) Safeways only. You can double up to 4 manufacturer’s coupons per transaction, up to $.50 each. You may not double a coupon marked with “Do Not Double” or an internet printable coupon. The double coupon is found in the weekly ad at the bottom of the middle page and look’s like this:

A&H cat litter is $9.99 with in-ad cpn or J4U download for 28-40 lbs. That’s a good price, esp for 40 lb size. There’s a $1.50 cpn at armand hammer website, but it’s a DumbSource/Java cpn and won’t print 4 me.
Limit 4.
cheryl says
Thanks, Howard, got the coupon.
My cat Bengal says thank you also.
Michelle says
Just found a $.50 ecoupon in the coupon center for the Butchers Angus ground beef. In fact, there are 2 so make sure you add the right one.
Heather says
The coupon will come off of multiple packages. FYI. Not just one. 🙂
Annye says
I’m confused. You note at the end of this post, “You may not double a coupon marked with ‘Do Not Double’ or an internet printable coupon” — yet many of the match-ups involve doubling a printed coupon. Has the policy changed? If so, could you please provide a link to the updated policy in case a cashier challenges it? Thank you!
charolyn says
In practice it varies with your store & often even the cashier & what they will do. & that’s the way the cookie crumbles 🙂
Howard says
Ironically, the double-coupon policy is written in double-talk that makes no sense. I cut and pasted it on the Safeway FLNW page a couple weeks ago. You can find it on Safeway’s website by doing a search for coupon policy.
Annye says
Thanks for your help, Charolyn and Howard! I’ve definitely encountered “YMMV” while couponing, but I’ll take your advice, Howard, and see what I can find at safeway.com.
Howard says
20. Check with your local store regarding “double coupon” promotions where customers will receive double the manufacturer coupon face value off the regular or club card price up to the identified limit. Not all locations offer double coupon promotions and the terms of such promotions may differ by time and store. Limitations and restrictions for double coupon promotions may change at any time. Changes will be posted in store only. “Double coupon” promotions do not apply to any internet or digital coupons except for applicable internet printed manufacturer coupons. These explanations and restrictions on “double coupons” apply to any promotion that increases the value of a manufacturer coupon beyond its face value.
Coupon Stacking:
21. Safeway does not allow a customer to redeem two or more manufacturer coupons against the same item in a single transaction.
22. Coupon stacking policies for manufacturer coupons apply to paper and electronic coupons that have been loaded to a club card.
23. If a customer presents two coupons for the same item in a single transaction, Safeway will give the highest discount for that item, subject to the terms of the applicable offer and/or coupon.

Two weeks ago, I had a cashier who refused to double my printables even after I told him what their policy said, I went straight home and printed off their policy and I always have it with me. The next cashier doubled them with no problem and actually gave me an additional $2 off for the first cashier who refused to do it! I was almost disappointed I didn’t get to argue since I had the policy with me……..
Michelle says
I am running into a lot of issues with cashiers that won’t double printed coupons. While in a Safeway last week I went by the employee message board on the way to the bathroom. There was a sign saying “DO NOT DOUBLE printed coupons! Thx, management” How’s it going for everyone else?
Angie says
I would find a different SW to go to. Every store I go to doubles my printables now. Even yesterday the only cashier was a lady who is not coupon friendly, but to my surprise she doubled all my printables.
Kati says
I’m trying to get to the link for the Plum pouches. When I click it takes me to Facebook and says the link isn’t found!! Help! Please!
Pat I says
The Angel Soft tissue is in Spanish when I click on link to print. Can I get it in English some way?
Sara says
I’ve had coupons in Spanish before and I was unable to change the language. The good thing is that they scan the same as an English coupon.
Howard says
Yes they do scan, but I think they’re a bit spicier than English cpns.
Howard says
Instead of waiting for the 7-27 Colgate cpn, use the one in 7-13 SS. It expires Sat 7-26, though.

I can’t find the coupon for p&g insert on crest toothpaste help
kitty's sis says
The Crest coupon is in the P&G on the bottom left hand corner on a double page of Crest products.
There is also a .75 coupon off Crest in the 7/13RP.
Kim Hawkins says
The Angel soft coupon says on it “Do not Double”, so it will be $.44/pc.
Leslie says
The Iams deal says the final amount if $1.50…. I’m thinking there’s either more to it, or that total isn’t quite right. It’s $8.99 on store coupon, with a $2/1 printable coupon and possibly double… is there something I’m missing?
Brittany from Frugal Living NW says
Thanks! I fixed it.
Jennifer says
Don’t forget that there is an ibotta rebate for Seattle Best Coffee for $1.50 so, if you can print the coupon and use the ibotta rebate, you would get a sweet deal! If not, $3.50 for a bag of coffee is not bad.
Brittany from Frugal Living NW says
Thanks! I forgot about that! I’ll add it!
