Most of these deals use a Safeway double coupon, which is available at Oregon & SW Washington (Wahkiakum, Cowlitz, Clark, Skamania & Klickitat Counties) Safeways only. You can double up to 4 manufacturer’s coupons per transaction, up to $.50 each. You may not double a coupon marked with “Do Not Double” or an internet printable coupon. The double coupon is found in the weekly ad at the bottom of the middle page and look’s like this:

Safeway has a just 4 u deal: (not a personalized deal) $10 off $100 American Express. Still have to pay the $5.95 activation but that is a free $4.05! Limit 1
Howard says
Bags of Chex Mix are $1 in the ad. Use $.50/2 cpn from 4-13 SS and doubler, pay $.50 a bag. I am SOOO loading up on these. I just wish they sold the sweet and salty version I used to buy–might be NLA.
Howard says
Some excellent specials at the 8145 SW Barbur Blvd, Portland store this week. $10 off $50 cpn (which MIGHT work anywhere?), Prego $.99 limit 2, corn $.20, half-gallon milk $1.25, red seedless grapes $1.49, FF whole chickens $.99 (not sure how safe those are anymore), FE salad blends $1.99.
nicole p says
where do you find the $10/$50 in the store at barbur?
Elaine says
It’s in their Safeway ad. You can pick it up at their store. Some on the pricing in their ad is different than the general Safeway ad, as Howard has pointed out. The special pricing is only good at their store. However, the $10 off coupon is good at any Safeway. It doesn’t list a specific location on the coupon.
PJ says
I found the Motts coupon in the 5/4 SS only for the Columbian – not the Oregonian. Great deal for doubling for .17 each. Although my Safeway on Andresen and Minnehaha is still doubling the internet coupons by most of the cashiers, there are one or two that won’t.
Jacqueline says
Anyone know what page the recipe ready coupon is in… I have looked in 10 different 4/13 SS and Im not seeing it
Howard says
I just looked in my Oregonian 4-13 SS and found it in the Healthy Essentials SS (there were 2 SS that week). It’s on the 14th page or so with other Birds Eye cpns.
I don't shop @ Walmart says
I have $1/1 tear pad coupon for MIO. Can I use X2 MC + MC for Free water? Thanks.
Howard says
It could work, although the FB cpn might have language preventing stacking of cpns. Some might argue that the FB cpn is for the water and the other two are for the Mio. I wouldn’t try it, but I’m sure it will work for somebody.
heather says
Does anyone know what this $1.25/1 NV granola bar coupon is? and where to find it? Thanks!
PJ says
There’s only a .50/1 m/c that is listed. You might be looking at the sale where you save 1.25 each if you buy 4 items.
Annie Colton says
I saw the same coupon being sold on Ebay- I refuse to buy coupons so I don’t know if it was a fraud coupon OR a coupon from the East Coast
Howard says
I know I printed that cpn a couple months ago at coupons.com. I believe it may be long gone; mine expired before I could use it. I believe I used zip 77477.
Kelleigh says
I’m not finding the Honey Nut Cheerios. Any other ideas?
Howard says
Bettycrocker.com has one for $.60 off. Usually you can print 2. Might have to register first.
Melissa says
Where do you find the $10/$50 coupon? Newbie here in couponland! 🙂
Howard says
Should be next week.
PJ says
It will come in the weekly freebie paper, usually the last page of the food section. Or, here in Vancouver, it should be in the Tuesday paper in the same section.
Christy says
If you’re getting any of the frozen items, check your Personalized Deals for a 10% off frozen food coupon.
charolyn says
appreciate the reminder 🙂
Trina says
Anyone know if the $10 off $50 coupon is coming this week?
Brittany from Frugal Living NW says
Not this week. It should be here next week.
superjaz says
Memorial day being early this month makes it feel like it should be next week.
Kinda surprised I didn’t see better sales this year.
Sara says
I was disappointed in the sales this year too. I was hoping to stock up on things like condiments, paper products and soda pop. Nothing seemed like a good stock up price this year.
superjaz says
Exactly. Pop especially as its warmer we splurge on a bit extra on hot days. Used to be a buy 2 get 3 free would show up every so often or buy 2 get 2 free with a free thing tossed in to make it a good deal.
Best we can do these days is hope a store doe a good deal, or wait and do a big stock up with a 10 off coupon.
