After receiving $12 in +UP Rewards over the weekend, I knew I needed to spend them before they expired. Those golden tickets have a two week expiration date and I have lost my shirt more than once with them expiring before I had a chance to use them.
Here are some tips to those fabulous/pesky rewards:
1. Unfortunately you cannot use the +UP Rewards the day you receive them, but you can still do back to back transaction by going in the next day to do your next transaction.
2. If your shopping trips are limited (because life happens), make a goal to visit Rite Aid once a week to at least roll your rewards until something you need shows up. This week’s great deal would be to get some Puracyn Foot Wash that is FREE after the $10 +UP Reward. This extends your +UP Rewards a bit more and you can always donate the item.
3. When you need a break from remembering to roll, spend your soon to be expiring +UP Rewards on items that don’t generate rewards or go on sale. I needed mousse a few weeks ago and decided to take a break from Rite Aid. I walked in with my $6 in +UP Rewards and walked out with three bottles of mousse that cost me under a dollar a piece!
After using my $12 +UP Rewards, I paid $14.67 and received $14 in +UP Rewards to spend in the next two weeks. Here is the breakdown of the deals:
