I’m wanting to do the pantene deal. B2G1. Can you use a coupon on the free one? Sorry I can’t find it in the coupon rules. I have the $5/3 e cpn and the $2/1 ecpn and 2 $2/1 manufacture coupons.

You can’t use a coupon on the free one, but you can use one “cents off” coupon that includes the free one. For example: You could buy 3 and use the $5/3 eCoupon with no problems. That would make each hair product $.99 or you could you do the scenario above for the same price.

Thank you for your answer. I think I understand. Lol! So my scenario above will work fine if I bring 6 pantene products to the counter? We have a new Rite aid with new employees so they don’t understand it. I had to explain my coupons to them last week and why they should work. They brought a manager up and he gave me the money for my coupons they had kept. I just want to be prepared in my mind so I can explain it if needed. Thank you!

Warning for anyone doing the Suave deal, the kids 2 for 1 shampoo coconut scent is ringing up 50% (clearance price?) and not tracking as part of the deal. My sister purchased it before we realized but decided it was a good deal anyway at .34 after the $1/1 coupons.
I got it & it counted. On deals less than $10, you do have to buy the entire amount in one purchase to get the +up (in other words it doesn’t track)-so was that it? Also got a clearance conditioner & 2 body washes.
Hmmm…that’s weird! She bought 3 bottles of the kids shampoo, 1 professionals shampoo, and 2 deodorants and only got 1 $2 UpR. I figured the kids shampoo wasn’t tracking since it wasn’t at the bottom of her receipt and didn’t ring up at BOG50% off. Her total for all of those items was $10.59 so is should have tracked, but she had 2 load2card coupons come off (.50/1 and .75/1). I wonder if those brought her total lower than the $10 minimum to count for tracking. I can’t figure it out. She’s happy with her purchases so that works for me I guess!
If the total was 10.59, then that is right one +up, as it was $2+up/$6. Have her return a couple & add a few more to get another + UP.
Today I got 2 kids shampoos & 2 adults -all clearance items & got the $2+up! I haven’t added it completely, but think it was a money maker-2- $1 coupons & 2-$1.50!!
Yeah, I get why she only got 1 $2 UpR but I thought it should track her total since it was above the $10 mark.
Oh-I get it. Each +up deal has to be for more than $10 to track- this one is only for $6.

Okay now that my temper tantrum is out of the way, I found an easier place to find good deals on Suave, Safeway!!!
Through the end of the month you can get Suave Professionals free, kids stuff free, cheap body wash etc.

The stayfree and carefree deal rang up cheaper if you have the 20% discount. Both are regular price as 3.99 so it made them $3.19
Thanks, I wonder if that also applies to the Playtex tampons. My daughter really likes them. I was going to buy them Sunday but decided to wait till Tuesday and roll Sunday’s UPs into those. Even at $3.99, they’re still a steal at $.99 net.
They are more expensive, so no discount-I checked that out too 🙂 But I think the insert coupon expired Sunday. There may be an internet one though.
Thanks, Charo, but I already messed this up this morning. I tried to buy 2 of the Sport tampons for my kid, and the cpns rejected at the register–expired 11-16. I could have bought them Sunday, but decided to roll the Colgate UPs to today. The best-laid plans of mice and men………So I canceled the purchase and will go back and get a raincheck. The digital cpn and the 11-16 one are for Gentle Glide only, and the store was out of them today.
The Mucinex Hot Tea that has the 6.99 coupon on the front of the ad is actually ringing up at 5.99 after gold discount, so the 6.99 coupon makes it a MM.

Basically the best deals are with the cheaper versions of the Suave Professionals Shampoos with the $1.50/1 coupons, unfortunately you can only use 2 of those coupons in 1 transaction so you have to stick another product in your scenario to get to the $6 threshold.
Worked for me-see above. Also watch for clearance items-really good deal with those. Best items are the adult shampoos ($1.50 coupon) & the kids shampoo or detangler ($1 coupon) & as brenda said-more tricky, because you can only use 2 like coupons & have to get it all at once ($6 +ups don’t track).
I wanted a few body washes (.50 coupon), so my first purchase was 2 of those, kids clearance shampoo & adult clearance shampoo = 1.86. Not the best total $7.01.
Yup, same for me. Maybe I’ll go back in a day or two and try to get another one. My son calls me a few times a year to ask for cold and flu meds.

Looks like a simple week.
I’m going to try and figure out a good Suave deal since we got some decent coupons this week for them. They are available on the Load2Card site, but looks like most of them are for lower values than our insert coupons.
I mentioned this a couple weeks ago, but if anyone is curious, my 10-5 Oregonian SS does not have the Delsym cpn, and it’s not in the coupon database. The VV cpn is still good for a couple more weeks.
