Nice trip for me Sunday. 2 Speed Stix; 1 65-count Zantac; 6 Pantenes; 1 Colgate t-paste. Total after cpns $20.98; used $13 in expiring UPs, paid $7.98, rec’d $8 in new UPs and will get $13.99 from Zantac MIR (net price after Wellness discount and $6 cpn).
I’m attempting to recreate Sunday morning’s RA comments that posted then vanished into cyberspace.
The “5” gum is not part of the Wrigley sale, so no go on the “5” cpns.
There were $4/2 Pantene inserts in Sunday’s paper (one on shampoo/conditioner, one on styler), so these are totally free after UP rewards. Can buy 6 total to get 3 UPs, don’t have to buy all 6 at once.
The Dove $1.50 hair cpn excludes men’s products, so the proposed scenario above would not work.
The multi-pack boxes of Kleenex tend to be on the small side, so $.66 per box may not be that great. Safeway often has 160-count Kleenex boxes for $.99.
My store had stickers all over the Colgate display indicating Limit 1 per customer. Glad they did that.

Were the pantene coupons on a separate sheet-or in one of the inserts?

The pantene coupons were on a separate sheet, shiny and coupons on both sides. At first I thought the coupons on the sheet were regional, but now am thinking it’s even more random than that. The coupon sheet I got in the Early Oregonian were Olay and Secret, but the coupons I got in Sunday’s Oregonian and the Columbian had Pantene.
I think the Pantene & Olay/secret inserts were random. I didn’t get them in my Oregonian at all. My mom got them in her paper.
Yeah, mine were on separate sheets–I get 3 Oregonians delivered. Also got a 4th sheet before I left Florida in Mom’s paper. They get their cpns/ads on Saturdays now. My daughter loves Pantene and was happy I got 6 for free.

Was happy to find plenty of Pantene and Colgate on Sunday. Disappointed that we didn’t get the Gear deodorant deal but will take my coupons to Target and do their deal instead.
Be careful if you do the theater candy deal, it’s only good on Mars and Wrigley products.

I lucked out on the theater candy-got two snickers that had .50 rite aid sticky coupons on them & got a skittles (for my son’s 15th birthday coming up next week!) =$1/3!!
Also in clearance got tampax pearl liners 75% off=1.07 & the P&G .50 coupons (which have a picture of tampons, but says any tampax pearl product) scanned just fine on them =.57!
Little hint when you aren’t sure if a product type matches the coupon, like this one questionable-if the first 1/2 of the UPC matches, I have noticed it will usually scan fine.
Wow, good tip about the barcodes. Is that just with P&G products or have you tried it with others?
Now that is a good question-the ones I can think of off the top of my head were P&G, but probably would work with others too. And I don’t generally need to do this, so don’t have tons of experience (maybe P&G are more vague ? 🙂
Interesting about the bar codes. I believe the first half of the UPC is the mfr. P&G is 16000, as I recall, and it appears on many of their wide range of products.
Howard-you are so good to keep me on my toes & keep me thinking 🙂 So I looked at the P&G coupons-you are close, lots of them do start with 003700, but not all. & I checked the various Always ones-all of them do start with this-Tampax radiant/pearl is different.
Now I am remembering last week, one of my P&G coupons tied to a totally different P&G product. Hmmm.
This is info I first got years ago-so hard to tell if it is current.
Now that I think of it, I believe 16000 is General Mills/Betty Crocker products, not P&G.
Did everybody get a RP in the Sunday Oregonian? I only got the SS and P&G
Got it in all 3 of my Oregonians, although it was a little hard to find.
Note there are some 3.49 & 3.99 varieties of Colgate on the $3 in ad coupon-so free/MM even without the manu coupon!
Also there is an Alba chapstick (tropical flavors) with a $3 +up-MM with the 20% discount, .49 without. It is by the specialty bath products (like Burts Bees).
I just updated with some good Load 2 Card coupons, be sure to check if you are wanting to do some of the scenarios with multiple coupons and don’t have enough!

Looks like the speed stick gear will be a $1 MM because in the scenario it only shows 1 +up reward and if you buy 2 then you should get (2) 1 +up rewards. Please correct me if I’m wrong:)

If you use Checkout 51, don’t forget there are some overlapping deals on cleaning products (Scrubbing Bubbles, Shout) and if you claim 4 cleaning offers they will add an additional $1 to your account at the end of the month.

There were some coupons for them to print awhile ago, not sure if they are still available or not so I should still be able to find some good deals.
Nivea is being offered on Shopmium for a rebate of $1. I think the face wash and the shave gel are free after coupons and rebate at walgreens, although I am sure the rebate works at rite aid also. Shopmium looks like Ibotta only the rebate transfers To pay pal immediately. I just registered and haven’t used it yet.

I found a referral code online (I didn’t see one posted on this site anywhere) and it gave an extra offer of a free Lindt chocolate bar! Who doesn’t love free chocolate, I know Howard does! 🙂 I’m not sure if that offer is still available if you don’t use a referral code.
Overall the app was fairly painless, and they deposite the rebate right into your Paypal account like PJ said without having to wait until you hit a minimum. Definitely another good one to add to Ibotta and Checkout 51.
