Check your email. I received an email from Rite Aid with a 30% shopping pass good 7/3-7/5.
charolyn says
Linda-I just signed on to post this:-)
Linda says
Check your email. I received a 30% off pass from them good 7/3-7/5.
charolyn says
75% off on roasted salted almonds & chocolate covered almonds for me today!
Howard says
Yum! Email me your home address, and leave the door unlocked. ๐
Howard says
On the Crest toothpaste deal: check for a RA $.50 peelie on the 4.6-oz Complete squeeze bottles. Stack with $1/1 mfr cpn and pay $1.50, get 300 points. Can do 2 of these.
Also, there’s a $1/3 cpn in today’s circular (SS?) on Wyler’s/Hawaiian Punch/Snapple etc powders, the ones you add to bottled water. All of those products are $1 each (or 80 cts if you have the 20% wellness discount). I got 9 for $4.20 total. Some are on the dollar aisle, if your RA has one, and some are in the grocery section. There are 6-8 in each package.
charolyn says
Hi Howard-thanks, my son likes the drink powders.
Also the cheaper crest are even more of a money maker with the 20% discount!
Check out the plenti site, as there are more deals to load-I got $5 (500 points)/$25 purchase with this today!!
Howard says
I thought all the Crests (3D and complete) that pair with the Plenti points were $4.39 and up, making them cheaper at the $3 price than the 80% wellness price. But maybe not.
charolyn says
Two types of crest complete are-whitening deep clean & whitening with scope. 3.49 to 2.79 with discount at my stores.
Howard says
Thanks, C, I don’t think my store had those, or I missed them. I usually go for the MMs. I did see Completes in the non-sale size of 6 oz. But I got the squeezers with $.50 peelies, so I did just fine. $3 MM on two bottles. ๐ ๐ ๐
charolyn says
Yes that is better & nice! I looked but no peelies for me.
Howard says
There’s a better Pringles cpn in today’s RP: $1/3. Frankly, they’re a better deal at Walgreens; $3 for 3 using this cpn and store card.
Brenda says
There’s a Playtex pads or liners coupon $1.50/1, print 2 of them and combine with Melody’s deal above to get them for .50 each.
http://www.playtexplayon.com/special-offers
There’s a Sparkling ICE coupon $1.50/1 coupon (sign up and they will email you a link-I had trouble printing it on Chrome and ended up use IE) They are 1.49 and BOGO this week so 2 for FREE!
http://www.sparklingice.com/flavorfaceoff/
Howard says
Brenda, is that really YOU? I’ve missed you for a couple of months! I did the ICE thing at Safeway or FM, forget which, and it scanned at $1.50 even though it was only $1.
charolyn says
I agree with Howard-good to hear from you again & as usual for both of you-with great tips too ๐
I was dubious about the “new” Rite aid, but actually am getting back into it now & am liking it-like that you can use any amount of “points” and that they don’t expire anytime in the near future (think they do in like a year-but that is no problem-2 weeks, a few times was a problem).
Brenda says
Yep, I guess I’m back (kind of, maybe, sorta).
I’m seriously boycotting Rite Aid for awhile because of how badly they messed up my new account. I followed all of the rules for for initial sign up with the new card but the cashier put in the wrong email address and they can’t do anything at the store level to fix it and corporate is absolutely worthless in trying to change the mistake. I went in on Sunday and was complaining to my favorite cashier and she got me the phone number for the district manager so hopefully he can help me out. I can’t earn any points but if I just open up a new account I would lose my Gold status and points for this year.
It’s so frustrating that I’ve been just ignoring Rite Aid for now and shopping at Wags a bit more.
Brenda says
P.S.
If you guys use Saving Star, there’s going to be a Sparkling ICE freebie available starting tomorrow!
charolyn says
That is frustrating-I would boycott also! I haven’t completely figured this out, but I have heard a bit that you can link cards. I am wondering if you could open a new account & link to your old card-with the important 20%! Several people I shop for threw out their card that came in the mail & so I am limited on how much I can shop now, & have recently wondered if this may work.
I have been wondering if this is going to work out for rite aid-seems like they are loosing people who don’t want to bother with getting the new system set up.
I tried wags a bit the month there was nothing at rite aid & got frustrated when I found out that you can’t earn their points if you use points to pay & I think that includes the RR-which pretty much limits what I would be interested in doing.
charolyn says
Thanks too for the saving star reminder-I keep forgetting about the freebie items!
charolyn says
Got the sparking ice loaded-is different as it expires 7/2.
Howard says
Thanks for the SavingStar reminder. I did it earlier today; they email me when there’s a new deal. Also signed up for 20% off bananas thru July 6. Because I don’t have a smartphone and refuse to photograph/upload receipts, my SS is now limited to RA and Albertson’s cards. I miss out on an occasional freebie when those two stores don’t carry the product.
Howard says
I rarely go to Wags any more. But I went today because they have 18-packs of Bud beers for $12.99 with a $6 MIR thru Saturday. Still have plenty of the 36 free cans of PBR I got via MIRs Super Bowl week.
Howard says
Plenti points are good for 2 years, so I assume their system automatically uses the oldest first. Minimum use is 200 points, or $2. I’m only at about 350 wellness points for 2015; usually I’m over 1000 by this time of year. I can be in Wellness 65+ once I hit that in October; they have 20% of wellness Wednesday, which is either weekly or once a month.
As far as Walgreens, you can earn points on items that have them, and still use the RRs. Just can’t use points and earn points in same transaction, or receive a RR for the same item you’re also using a previous RR for. Walgreens now gives 10 Balance Reward points per $$; I think you sign up online. I enter my weight and activity (walking, yard work, golf) and got more Bal Rew pts. I have over 92000 right now, and that’s after redeeming 80K previously ($100 worth). Can’t redeem more than 40K ($50) in points per transaction. Brenda, maybe you and Charolyn can merge/marry your RA cards and qualify for the 65+ program! (I think the Supreme Court now allows this) ๐
charolyn says
Humorous & helpful Howard!
Amazing how many points you have! Do you sign up at walgreens.com? I haven’t looked there before.
Is everyone checking online for plenti bonus offers? I believe everyone has a $5/$25 offer-an introductory type of thing.
Note some of the “offers” are just what the weekly deals are & will say “automatic”-others you need to click on to load to your card.
Howard says
Yes, Walgreens dot com. Sign in (assuming you already have an online acct). Scroll down a little ways to Balance Rewards for Healthy Choices and enroll or whatever you need to do. There are different points rewards for different things like weight and fitness activity. For the 10 points per $ program, go down to Paperless Coupons on the main page after signing in, click on that and look for that offer. It’s a load to card kind of deal. Of course you need a Walgreens card to link to all these programs. I think they give bonus points just for enrolling.
Christy says
Just went to Rite Aid this morning…they have lots of party supplies for 75% off, which makes many of them cheaper than the dollar store. I got number candles for my kids’ next birthdays for 32 cents each.
charolyn says
I got some nice lipton tea 75% off this week-+ .40 coupon=about .32 ๐ Also for those who use Kcups-many of them were discounted 50-75% also-teas & coffees (folgers for one).
