Christmas Treats — It’s baking day!
It's baking day around here. We've pinned a ton of recipes to our Bake {Christmas Treats} board and I figured it was time to actually make them. Here's what's on my list today. Homemade Chocolate Bark -- this is so easy and delicious. I'm adding a bit of peppermint oil and changing up the toppings. Chocolate Dipped Pretzel Rods -- easy project for the kids. I'll be using my food processor to grind up the candy canes. Peppermint Bark Rice Krispie Treats -- I'll save some chocolate from the Homemade chocolate bark to use from the reserves. What’s for dinner? This week’s egg-free, dairy-free menu plan (12/16)
Menu Plan by Amanda, a SAHM to two boys, ages 2 and 10 months living in Salem, Oregon. We found out in July that our then 7-month-old was allergic to dairy and egg. We cut back on dairy but with a 2-year-old in the house it was hard to completely get rid of milk and cheese. After another scare and ER visit last week, we have decided to completely take both dairy and egg out of our diets. It hasn’t been an easy transition, but one that is crucial for the safety of our baby.
