We do the Chelatchie Christmas train every year in SW Washington. Santa isn’t that great, but my kids don’t care. You get a real Christmas tree with the package and the train is great a ride! They give you hot cocoa and cookies at the stop when you pick up your tree. It is cold on the ride so dress in lots of layers!

We walk and drive this route several times during December! I did it as a kid, and now my kids LOVE it. My 5 year old already asked when we get to go!
