New Seasons: Laurie’s Organic Shopping Trip $42.72

Here’s a great illustration of how to save some money on organic and natural foods without even using coupons. Laurie combined a store sale (50% off pasta and sauce at New Seasons Market December 28-30) with a rain check ($1.50 per can for Organic Coconut Milk), with a $10/$50 coupon from the “Payback” book (similar to the Entertainment book, but for businesses in and around Vancouver, Washington). Total out of pocket spent was $41.72 for 18 jars or Organic Pasta Sauce and 10 cans of Organic Coconut Milk, a great deal! This deal could also be done on a smaller scale using a $5/$25 coupon from the Chinook Book.
