Our reader Kelleigh of Kelleigh Ratzlaff Designs emailed me a great gift idea for your husband, especially if you’re still searching for something personal — and it’s free! Check out her cool 12 Days of Christmas stocking stuffer (because the 12 Days of Christmas traditionally follow Christmas) — a set of tags you can download, print and put in your husband’s stocking!
While on Kelleigh’s blog, I came across this great idea for another quick handmade gift: Brownies in a Jar. You could also do something similar with the Betty Crocker Cookie Pouches we’ve been making money on at Safeway. No one has to know you didn’t create it from scratch!
This got me thinking — I’m sure there are other readers with great last minute gift ideas. Leave a comment (and a link to your blog post if you have it!) to give the rest of us some inspiration!

As an easy and nice Stocking stuffer to my adult siblings and their spouces, I purchase $2 gift certificates for local restarants, and I rolled them into scrolls, put cute ribbon around them and a tag saying it includes a dinner date out while I watch their kids… (they just better pick different nights since there are 3 siblings!) and I picked a place near me, so they already have to come this way to use the gift certificate!! Hopefully they'll enjoy the inspiration and convenience to go out alone!!

I made some Dry Erase boards. They are just using picture frames, any size will work, mine are 8×10. I used my scrapbooking papers inside the frame (where the photo would go) and accessorized the top of the glass. You could add a photo, make extra inserts to be seasonal, the possibilities are endless! Write – Wipe – Write again. Visit my blog at

I am going to mix up some "Easy Bake Oven" mixes for my 8 year old and put them in canning jars. I have everything on hand and I'm not paying for the packets from the store.
