Just a quick reminder that the new course, Electric Pressure Cooking 101, launches tomorrow and the price will go up. If you pre-purchase the course TODAY it is just $12 for everything you need to dominate your electric pressure cooker.
The EPC 101 course will help you gain confidence in cooking a wide variety of foods using different methods with your Instant Pot (or other electric pressure cooker). You will also learn how to use your Instant Pot regularly — meaning you will understand how you can make using it part of your weekly cooking routine.
The course includes three modules plus cooking demonstrations. All of the information is delivered in quick, easy to digest segments that will work with your busy schedule.
Here are some questions I’ve received about the EP 101 course:
Who teaches the course? The course is taught by Erin from $5 Dinners who is an expert at preparing meals for your family in an efficient and inexpensive manner.
I have a different pressure cooker. Will this course be helpful? As long as it’s an electric pressure cooker, it will work. You don’t need to have the Instant Pot brand cooker.
Can I access the course content later? Yes! Everything (the videos, worksheets, instructions, cooking demos) are recorded and can be watched or read anytime. You will have access to the course content for as long as the course is available.
Do I have to attend the online classes at a designated time? No. You get to watch when it works with your schedule. The first set of lessons will launch on Tuesday, January 24. Erin will release new content over the next couple of weeks.
How much does the course cost? Only $12 if you purchase it TODAY (1/23) — the price goes up tomorrow. And that $12 will get you ALL the EPC 101 course content.
This course will teach you:
- All about your electric pressure cooker, including the different parts, how to clean it, and what the settings mean
- How to pressure cook “groups” of food, like grains, beans, potatoes, roasts, freezer meals, soups, chilis, and vegetables
- The first 10 meals you should make with your Instant Pot
- A meal plan for 2 weeks and matching shopping lists

I plan to register for this class, however I haven’t purchased a pressure cooker or Instant Pot. Does the instructor have a recommendation on which to purchase? In order for me to be successful at this, the ideal situation is night before prep since I work during the day and drive kids to school etc.
Thank you in advance for any input.

Absolutely. I can also give you some direction. How many people are you typically cooking for?
