*HOT* Fred Meyer: Get video games as low as $7.50 through Saturday (12/17)

I’m pretty sure we landed on the trifecta of video game deals at Fred Meyer — Get select video games as low as $7.50 each after Fred Meyer Gift Card. This will work Friday and Saturday ONLY (12/16-12/17).

To start, I’ll outline all the promotions running and then show you how it works together.

PROMOTION ONE — Savings Certificate Deal (valid on home electronics):

Spend $150, Save $30
Spend $100, Save $20
Spend $50, Save $10

PROMOTION TWO — Video Game Gift Card Deal (games must be priced at $29.99+ to qualify for this deal):

Buy 2 video games, Get $20 Fred Meyer Gift Card
Buy 3 video games, Get $35 Fred Meyer Gift Card
Buy 4 video games, Get $50 Fred Meyer Gift Card

PROMOTION THREE — Video Game Sale:

Select video games are on sale + Nintendo 3DS games are Buy One, Get One 50% off with a yellow hangtag coupon. There are 4 3DS games that are $29.99 + B1G1 50% off.

Here’s a scenario that worked for Melissa, a member of our PNW Christmas Deals Facebook Group (join that group HERE):

Buy Pokemon Sun for 3DS = $29.99
Buy Pokemon Moon for 3DS = $29.99
Buy $5.02+ worth of additional electronics (DVD, earbuds, etc) = $5.02
Buy One, Get One 50% off (-$15)
Use $10 off $50 Savings Certificate (-$10)
Pay $40, Get $20 Fred Meyer Gift Card
$20 after coupon & gift card ($10 each)

You could turn around and do the deal AGAIN (buy 2 more games on sale $29.99 + B1G1 50% off) and pay for the second transaction with the gift card from transaction #1 and get ANOTHER gift card.

Here’s another scenario:

Buy 4 games @ $29.99 = $119.96
Buy $10.03+ worth of electronics = $10.03
B1G1 50% off video game discount (-$29.99)
Use $20 off $100 Savings Certificate (-$20)
Pay $80, Get $50 Fred Meyer Gift Card
$30 after coupons & gift card ($7.50 each)

These are games that are $40 right now on Amazon.

This deal also works on the other console games (PS4, Xbox, wii, etc), but the non-Nintendo 3DS games are not B1G1 50% off. I saw a bunch priced around $40, so your transaction would look like this:

Buy (4) $39.99 games = $159.96
Use $30 off $100 Savings Certificate (-$30)
Pay $129.96, Get $50 Fred Meyer Gift Card
$79.96 after coupon & gift card ($20 each)

This is a great deal on the newer, expensive games!

I cannot find a link to the printable Savings Certificate coupon. You can get one yourself by going here –> https://www.fredmeyer.com/weeklyad and then finding the ad that is titled “Weekend 2-Day Sale” and then printing the coupon off or emailing it to yourself. It will most likely be in the store as well.
