As we’ve added more people (and chaos) into our home, I’ve come to rely on subscription services more and more to make sure my home is stocked with our essentials. Not only does it save me time (I don’t have to run out to the store for last minute purchases), but I actually end up saving money as I’m not making any impulse purchases while I’m at Target.
I’ve tried out and love Amazon Subscribe & Save and Stitch Fix and have recently added Grove Collaborative to the mix.
Grove Collaborative helps you figure out what natural cleaning products you use and then makes sure they show up at your house when you need them.
Grove carries all of your favorite natural cleaning products, including Mrs. Meyer’s, Seventh Generation, Dr. Bronner’s, Method, Tom’s of Maine, Yes to Tomatoes (and all other others), and Acure Skin Care.
And Grove is offering an amazing deal to Frugal Living NW readers so you can try them out!
Place your first order with Grove Collaborative and receive one of four gift sets for FREE:
I just did this deal and got a whole lotta natural cleaning and dish products that we will use for under $30 shipped.
Here’s how to do the deal:
Go HERE and enter your email address.
Select the free gift set you want out of the four options and click “Claim My Free Offer.”
I think the Grove Beyond Plastic Starter Set is the best value. You get all of this for free:
- Grove Co. Reusable Glass Cleaning Spray Bottle (16 oz)
- Grove Co. Reusable Glass Cleaning Spray Bottle (16 oz)
- Grove Co. Matte Cleaning Caddy
- Grove Co. Walnut Scrubber Sponge
- Grove Co. All-Purpose Household Cleaner Concentrate Refill
- Grove Co. Glass Cleaner Concentrate Refill
If you just want cleaning products and not all of the equipment (caddy, bottles, sponge), the Mrs. Meyer’s Cleaning Set is good. You get all of this for free (and you’ll be able to select your scents):
- Mrs. Meyer’s Multi-Surface Cleaner
- Mrs. Meyer’s Dish Soap
- Mrs. Meyer’s Hand Soap
After you click through some stuff, you’ll land on the checkout page. You need to do some work to order the stuff you actually want.
- Look at all the items listed for FREE. Those are the items in your free gift set. You can go through and change the colors and scents.
- Look at the items that were automatically added to your cart. Grove just populates that for you. Go through and remove anything you don’t want by clicking the X in the upper right hand corner. It can be everything that’s not listed for free. Totally up to you.
- Add products that you DO want to buy. Add at least $29 worth of stuff to your cart.
Complete checkout.
The prices are comparable to Target or Amazon so you’re not getting the best deal in the world, but when you factor in the free stuff it’s really good. Here are some decent prices I found (the best deals seem to be in the Household section):
- Seventh Generation Dish Soap (19 0z) — $2.89
- Mrs. Meyer’s Dish Soap Refill (48 oz) — $9.99
- Mrs. Meyer’s Multi-Surface Spray (16 oz) — $3.94
- Grove Co Wrinkle Release Spray (8 oz) — $4.95
- Grove Co European Dish Cloths (2 pk) — $6.95
I received my Grove order this weekend. Here’s what I got in addition to the Grove Beyond Plastic Starter Set:
- Seventh Generation – Dish Liquid – Refill (Free & Clear) — $6.99
- Grove Co. – Stain Remover Spray (8 OZ) — $4.95
- Grove Co. – Wrinkle Release Spray (8 OZ) (Free & Clear) — $4.95
- Grove Co. – All-Purpose Household Cleaner Concentrate Refill, 2 Pack — $6.95
- Grove Co. – Glass Cleaner Concentrate Refill, 2 Pack — $6.95
I got everything pictured below for under $31 out the door.
Not bad for $30.79, right? I particularly like that I have 3 multi-purpose cleaner refills and 3 glass cleaners refills plus the 2 spray bottles. I’ll be able to clean a lot of surfaces with this stuff.
Remember your out-of-pocket needs to be a minimum of $29 to get the free stuff.
Once you sign up, you will be enrolled in Grove Collaborative’s monthly subscription program. I am super hesitant to share subscription services with you guys, mostly because I don’t like it when companies put the responsibility on me (and you) to figure out when to pause or cancel my subscription. Grove Collaborative is different. I received a couple of emails before my next shipment processed which gave me ample time to edit, pause, or cancel that month’s shipment. And you can cancel your Grove account altogether after you get your first order if you want.
Head to Grove Co to get started!
