Do you know how much I love all of you? Your generosity is amazing and I cannot believe I get to be a witness to your giving. Your continued response to our Ten for Teens giving project has been overwhelming. The $10 gift cards keep rolling in and I know that these gifts will have a tremendous impact on our local teens in foster care, their foster families, and the DHS workers working with these kids. Thank you (and keep on giving -- we're getting close to our goal!) I know that many of you love to respond to specific gift requests and I have another big one for you today. I was contacted this weekend by Embrace Oregon with a special opportunity Keep Reading

Check out this awesome school supply donation!
Check out the email I received from fellow Frugal Living NW reader, Dina: Last week, under the Fred Meyer weekly deals, Howard (your local frequent frugal living replier) had commented that he had school supplies and if someone were interested in them to contact him. Some of our students come from war torn countries, escaping drug cartels or poverty. These students come with nothing. The last thing on their mind are school supplies. When I explained this to Howard, Keep Reading
