The Food Day featured a great product called Chef Sleeves. It’s a way to protect your iPad from the elements in your kitchen while cooking. It’s a great invention. I cook from recipes pulled up on my iPad frequently.
Just before I was set to buy, a frugal idea light bulb went off. Why not use a gallon sized zip bag? Sure enough, it fit perfectly.

How do you get your screen to stay on for that long without opening zipper bag to turn back on?
you can reset your settings to keep your screen on for longer. But I know that it still feels my finger when I turn it back on.
