With the new year, I know many of you are looking to whip your family’s budget into shape and probably one of the best (and easiest) ways to save is by using coupons to lower your grocery budget.
Join me for a free 30-minute web class as I share 4 ways to save money with coupons. You will walk away knowing the basics of couponing plus you’ll have the opportunity to snag a serious bargain on the Sunday Oregonian:
Participants in this free web class will be qualified to get up the Sunday Oregonian at a fantastic discount! This deal is available to new and current Oregonian subscribers.
Thursday, January 9 at 8:00 PST
Ready to sign up? Just head to our registration page!
Important: This discounted subscription offer is exclusive to participants of a Frugal Living NW live event and is not offered directly through The Oregonian. It is available to those readers within The Oregonian home delivery areas of Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas and parts of Columbia and Yamhill counties only. I don’t know when or if the Oregonian is planning to expand this deal to other parts of Oregon or SW Washington and have no knowledge of other papers offering a discounted subscription deal.
Everyone, regardless of location, is welcome to attend the class!

I recently took the couponing class to get be able to receive the Oregonian deal- however, I just recieved a new debit card from my bank due to the issues with target and my card possibly being compromised. I noticed the Oregonian purchase hadn’t gone through yet- I am hoping that I can just give you my updated card information so I can still receive the papers I signed up for… Is that an option?
Karinda says
i missed this event 🙁 is there anyway to still get the subscription at a discount?
Kim says
How much is the Oregonian subscription when you sign up for the class?

Mary Stanford, I just renewed my 4 Sunday papers for the same price! Just look at the invoice they sent u.. If they are not honoring it, cancell it and sign up for a class.. I had no problem with it..

I signed up for class for tonight and never got a email for the class link. I checked my junk mail as well. Any thoughts as to what I should do?
Angela Davis says
Email me at frugallivingonline@gmail.com and I’ll get you set up.

Same question on renewing my papers.
mary stanford says
Has anyone got a answer on this question? I have left question before and never got a answer.
Tracy says
The Oregonian has a hard time delivering 5 papers. Often times I only get 4.
Angela Davis says
Make sure you call them if you don’t get the full amount of papers!

Will our subscription from last year automaticly renew, or do I need to take the class again and resubscribe through the frugal site?
Angela Davis says
It depends. Some people are getting automatically renewed at the discounted rate and billed (it won’t be charged to your card), some people are getting offers of a higher rate, and some are just getting dropped altogether. Once your initial 52 weeks are up, see what the Oregonian sends you. If they won’t renew at the discounted rate, just retake the class and we’ll get you another 52 week subscription.
HEATHER says
Thank you! I think I’m due to renew in January but I haven’t heard anything yet and I want to make sure I get my papers and not just walk out to my driveway one Sunday morning to nothing!

I went through this class some time ago, less than a year and I ordered 4 newspapers through you guys, paid it in full and now, the Oregonian is sending me a bill and stopped my subscription. I am not sure what I need to do to fix this problem. Please help.
Maria says
The same just happened to me. I received an invoice through the mail as well as emails. Not once did I agree or consent to extend my subscription beyond the special one year deal offered through the class. Last week I received a collection letter from Joseph Mann & Creed stating I owed the Oregonian $24.99. On the backside of the collections letter it has a section where I can restart my subscription.LOL!!!! I am very upset!!!!
Angela Davis says
All you need to do is contact the Oregonian to stop your subscription.
