I’m confused with all the codes: sis, pg etc
Does your site explain?
And I don’t understand how to get the Nutella coupon to use at Fred Meyer- where do I find one?
Thanks
Howard says
Hi, Sue. SS means Smart Source, RP means RedPlum, PG means Procter and Gamble, the three main sources for Sunday newspaper cpn inserts. If you go to “Learn” at the top of the flnw page (above) and scroll down to FAQs, there’s a list of acronyms and other common terms. The Nutella cpn should be in the July 31 Smart Source circular, although you can’t always rely on that because some cpns are designated for specific geographic areas. This particular cpn is in the Oregonian 7-31 SS on page 2.

Be careful when you buy the Fred Meyer Cottage cheese and sour cream, the coupon pictures the 16 oz size. When I bought the 24 oz size today, either she didn’t scan the coupon right or it didn’t take. But it didn’t show on my receipt. I had to go to customer service to get the 99 cent price. Looks like someone made a mistake on the coupon and it should be for the 16 oz size instead of the 24 oz. CS did refund me. And took off an additional 10 % for Senior Tuesday.
Howard says
Good catch! I was suspicious of that when I saw the ad Sunday. They always put the 16-oz sizes on sale for that price, not the 24. I passed on both items Tuesday only because I am going on a trip soon. I did buy the dip for 89 cents senior price. If the smaller sizes were the intended sale ones, they should have posted a disclaimer near the dairy case.
