Homemade Cleaners (that actually work)
Making your own cleaning supplies is a great way to save money, reduce waste, and cut back on the amount of chemicals entering your home.
Purchasing a few key ingredients will give you a good start on making your own cleaning products, including the following (these links go to Amazon so you know what you’re looking for — you can find most of these items at Walmart, Target, or your grocery store):
- Fels Naptha soap (also AMAZING for cleaning grass stains/dirt off baseball pants)
- White vinegar
- Borax
- Baking soda
- Dish soap
- Kosher salt
- Cornstarch
- Washing soda
- Citric acid
- Quality spray bottle
