BrickFest Live is coming to the Portland Expo Center August 19 and 20. The Brick Fest Live LEGO® Fan Experience is filled with hands-on attractions and activities engineered to inspire, educate, and entertain.
It seems pretty cool.
I was offered four free tickets in exchange for promoting the show and giving you a promotion code to save $3 off each admission. Sounds good — I’m always up for free stuff. But then I researched ticket prices a bit further and discovered that the promotion did NOT give you the very best deal. I found two better ones:
4 tickets from the company’s website with the $3 off code + fees = $85.80
4 tickets from Goldstar + fees = $77
4 tickets from Groupon with the promo code WOW20 + NO fees = $57
*The promo code WOW20 takes 20% off one ticket price (-$3)
So, I’m skipping the free tickets because there’s NO WAY I can tell you to buy tickets for almost $30 more.
You are purchasing a $15 ticket to one of four sessions (morning or afternoon on Saturday or Sunday). You can purchase the VIP all-day pass for $29 (you also get a minifig and swag bag).
Head to Groupon to purchase discounted tickets to the Brick Fest Live LEGO® Fan Experience at the Portland Expo Center.
Remember, you get to pay for parking at the Expo Center, so bring extra cash for that. You can also take the MAX train to and from the Expo Center.
