Cents of Style, a fantastic little online clothing retailer, is back this weekend with some adorable tees at a fantastic price! They offered to send me one and I chose the grey Life Is Beautiful top. (I really love their scoop neck tees.)
I wore the shirt on Wednesday to a function with my daughter and returned to a slightly messy house when I remembered that I needed to take a pic of myself in my shirt. And wouldn’t you know, the selfie-camera lens on my phone is cracked in about 8 places.
Well, how perfect is that? Life Is Beautiful, messes and cracked phones and all, right?
Your life doesn’t have to be perfect to be beautiful. And no one’s life is picture perfect, despite what your silly Instagram feed tells you. We’re all dealing with messes and brokenness and general chaos and most of the time, it’s beautiful.
Want to get your hands on one of these? Cents of Style is having a big sale on their entire Life Is Tee line this weekend: Use the code LIFEIS1 at checkout and get one for just $15.95 with FREE shipping.
And you have five styles to choose from with this sale:
- Life is Grand
- Life is Tough
- Life is Beautiful
- Life is Sweet
- Life is an Adventure
Plus, when you head to checkout you’ll have the opportunity to purchase one of these bracelet stacks (either Sky Blue or Coral) for just $1.99. I’ve ordered one of these add-on bracelets from COS before and they are good quality, especially for the price, and are an inexpensive way to build your jewelry collection!
A word about fit on the tops: I really, really like the cut of Cents of Style shirts. They are definitely NOT the typical men’s shirts with a girl’s design slapped on the front. These cut in at the waist and are fitted in all the right ways in the shoulders and bust.
They run fairly true-to-size. I usually wear a medium and sometimes a small, and I’m wearing a medium in the above pic. And the fabric quality is very good. I’ve been pleased with all of the tops coming from Cents of Style.

I tried to order a shirt but it said, “This code did not match any active gift card or discount. Was it entered correctly?”
I tried twice.
