I know some of you are reluctant to jump into buying meat from Savory Butcher because of the whole Zaycon Fresh debacle, but I think we’re good. You’re paying for your meat coming THIS WEEK, not months.
I ordered from Savory during the pre-launch delivery in October and I was very pleased with both the service and the product.
I ordered the ground beef and it came in four, ten pound packages so I could re-pack the meat in the sized that worked best for my family. The meat came fresh, had never been frozen, and had a “eat or freeze by date” of over ten days!
The fresh boneless, skinless chicken breast comes TRIMMED so there’s NO PREP as you divvy out the meat into meal-sized portions for the freezer or to throw in your freezer meals.
Savory Butcher is coming to the Portland Metro area on Friday, November 16 to Woodland, WA, Vancouver, Gresham, Hillsboro, and Oregon City.
For those of you who are new to Savory Butcher, you will go to the delivery location at the specified time, roll through the parking lot and pick up your boxes of meat. You don’t have to leave your car.
