The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is in full swing ! I actually got to shop IN THE STORE this year. While I love love love online shopping because of the convenience, there is definitely perks to actually trying on the clothes and having an adorable salesgirl bring you new sizes and suggestions.
And Nordstrom is just magical. It’s clean and well laid out and sparkly and the shoe department is like heaven on Earth. Even for a girl who doesn’t really like to shop.

I also know that I can recommend things I think are cute until I’m blue in the face, but buying things that someone else has actually held in their hand and tried on makes the purchase feel less risky.

This Make + Model Brushed Hacci Sweatshirt has kind of flown under the radar, probably because it’s in the sleepwear department. I snagged it off the rack when I was at the store and it is SO SOFT. Vintage-inspired sweatshirt with no hood and a hem that sits right at the waist and LESS THAN $30.
Super cute with leggings or jeans, lounging around the house or running errands.
For size reference, I am wearing a medium on a 5’8″ frame. Some of the reviewers said it is too short, but I find it fits pretty true to size. If you want something a little longer to cover the booty, this probably isn’t the shirt for you.
This BP. Boatneck Rib Knit Pullover is probably my favorite find of the sale. It was the one thing I put on that I said OH YES immediately. It’s affordable, so comfortable in an over-sized, super flattering way and the Pink Mauve is one of the best colors I’ve ever seen.
Perfect for lounging around or wearing with jeans when you want to be comfy, but easy to dress up with wedges or booties and jewelry or a pretty scarf. So many possibilities and less than $25!

LOVE these kate spade Bright Idea Stud Earrings! I have purchased the glitter earrings from the sale the last few years and wear them every single time I dress up (and sometimes when I don’t). These studs are honestly perfect for everyday wear. Just a little bit of sparkle and small enough to not be super showy.
I’m wearing the clear/rose, but there are tons of colors also available!
If you can get ahold of one of the Barefoot Dreams Circle Cardigans, I swear you won’t ever take it off. I put it on in the store with zero intention of leaving with it and then refused to take it off.
HEAVEN. So soft and so flattering with the fitted style. Actually gives me shape in the front AND the booty. WORTH EVERY PENNY.

I ordered a few different styles of basic tees this year and was honestly surprised that I liked this Caslon Rounded V-Neck Tee the best. So much, I have now ordered in three different colors.
It is a wonderful light material, super comfy, long enough to cover all torso lengths and still be tucked if you’d like and very flattering! I ordered a medium for a roomier fit, but if you prefer something more fitted, size down.
The lighter colors are a bit sheer, so keep that in mind when choosing colors. I will wear a cute bralette with mine, but would also be just fine with a nude bra.

The cardigan is currently sold out, but I’ll link to the page so you can keep an eye out if there are any returns. Such a great find at less than $32! Cozy, but not crazy heavy so perfect for lounging around the house or wearing on chilly spring or fall evenings.
The pocket tee is a MUST PURCHASE. Lightweight, long enough for all torsos or to do a side tuck and a few perfect little details that elevate from just your basic tee. Great for wearing alone or layering under a vest, cardigan or lightweight jacket. In and out of stock, but currently available in black or white. I found the striped tee in my local store!
I’m going to spare you a picture of me in my underwear for several reasons, but I just wanted to share again how much I LOVE the Hanky Panky low rise thong underwear that are part of the sale every year.
No panty lines, super super comfortable and a wonderful, easy fit. I couldn’t wear thong underwear for the longest time after having kids because it felt weirdly uncomfortable and hit in the all the wrong places, until I found these. They are GENIUS.

Super easy to apply, little to no smell at all, wonderful even coverage and only takes a little bit of time to set before you can take a shower. Most times I use it, I put it on before bed, sleep in it and wash it off in the morning. SO EASY.
