I’m so excited that the just for U® savings tool is now available at Albertsons! I had a chance to play with it a bit and I’m thrilled to report that it’s user-friendly and a legit way to save money at Albertsons.
There are two components to the just for U® savings tool at Albertsons:
just for U® Coupons and Personalized Deals
This is very similar to Safeway’s J4U® program. Download the Albertsons app to your smartphone, create an account, and start adding offers to your account based on your purchase history.:
Personalized Deals — My favorite! Every week you can load deals that are specific to you. Here’s the best part — you can use a manufacturer’s coupon with your personalized deals!
Weekly Ad Coupons — Load the regular weekly ad coupons to your Rewards Card instead of clipping the paper coupons. This makes it so much easier to organize your shopping trip + no wasted paper!
Manufacturer’s Coupons — There are a TON of manufacturer’s digital coupons that you can load to your Rewards Card saving you the hassle of printing them yourself. (Note you cannot use one of these digital coupons with a manufacturer’s coupon.)
Special Offers — These are typically gift card deals in which you pay less than face value for a gift card or you earn additional Gas Rewards when you purchase that specific card. This is also the section where you’ll find periodic $ off your total purchase coupons, like the monthly $10/$50 coupon available in certain Oregon and SW Washington locations.

Gas Rewards
For additional ways to save, you can now earn Gas Rewards at Albertsons and save up to $1 per gallon at Safeway and Albertsons gas stations and participating Chevron and Texaco locations.
Here are the different ways you can earn Gas Rewards at Albertsons:
There are two ways to enroll in Albertsons’ Gas Rewards:
- Download the Albertsons app to your smartphone from the iTunes store or the Google Play Store.
- Visit Albertsons.com to register. Click your city/region to get started. You can also just go HERE.
Albertsons made it extra easy — if you’re already registered for just for U® outlined above, you don’t need to register for Gas Rewards. Simply shop and redeem using your just for U® registered phone number.
Once you’re registered, you can enter your phone number at check out every time you shop at Albertsons to earn gas rewards points for every dollar spent on participating items and build up to a Gas Rewards savings.

CAN NOT GET APP ON MY PHONE WASTE OF TIME… GO WALMART
I am disgusted, no way for me to sign in as I did in the past. I do not have a smart phone and use my computer to clip and add my coupons. Went to store today to shop and checker helped me my adding a coupon which of course did not show up when I entered my home phone. What is up with this. Lyn a rep online tried to help me, I did what I could with the info I got. Maybe I will just have to forget about shopping at Albertson’s. I am sure most stores do not care they have plenty of other customers. However I do like Albertson;s and will just have to transition. If you can help me just respond. By the way I am going on 86 yrs and still like to look online for your coupons.
I Am not able to download the for U app. It says the app for digital savings is not available in my area. I live in Mesa, Arizona.
How do I get the savings?
some people dont have a smart phone, your prices are different at check out, a scam for sure laugh on while your shoppers go else where .as i will & let everyone know !
So frustrated trying to save all this money with your wonderful just 4 U app, it doesn’t work! If you want to give us a deal just do it and stop the games.
I have signed up for numerous ” savings” and haven’t the slightest idea whether I have saved anything or committed a crime. This is the most confusing application ever. While I like the idea of saving money, I doubt I will use it.
your program is too complicated. Between Apps, coupons, phone numbers, points, its just not worth worrying about

I do not own a “smart” phone, only a “dumb” phone and I do not want or need a “smart” phone. I do however own 2 Apple computers and one Windows machine. Can I use my equipment to take advantage of the offers in your weekly flyer or should I shop somewhere else ?
Are you implying that I need the Safeway and the Albertson’s Apps both? They don’t intermingle?
