I finally got out to Fred Meyer to check out the Friends & Family pass deals. The Friends & Family pass is valid through Sunday (12/2), but many of these sales only run through Saturday. I got the leap pad 2 bundle for $99 after coupons which is the best price I’ve seen for that. My husband and I have been watching the prices and haven’t seen it go below $119. I was pretty stoked! 🙂

I am one HAPPY mommy (aka Santa’s Helper). My 3 year old son has been drawn to the Imaginext Eagle Talon Castle and the cheapest I’ve found it is $49.99, but still could not bring myself to pay that price for PLASTIC. Now with help, I was able to score the Eagle Talon Castle AND the Castle Dragon. These retail for $110 for both, possibly $90 with sales I’ve seen, but THANKS TO YOU, I scored both for $42.07 – that’s $21 each, now I can justify paying that for a plastic product. My son will be in heaven and so happy with Santa!! Thank you so much!!!

A kind lady in front of me at salmon creek freds gave me the whole list and offered to buy my entire order, I passed on the generous offer but did use the list, she gave the salvation army lady the $30.00 she offered to me..I help at a food pantry, and battered womens place, she heard me as I gave about $8.00 worth of coupons to an elderly lady while I was shopping it made the difference for her food bill, why not, to me holidays are more than toys, and running rude to retail places..also I found a buck as I left the store and ran back to get the tuesday newspaper I forgot to pick up I was jossled around by the people trying to buy many powerball tickets which I considered a waste of money, why not contribute to people who need food and sox, and gloves and hats..? The need is great all year round and by people who work many jobs and pay their bills and have little to feed themselves after they feed their wives, husbands, partners and children..to me that is the spirit of any holiday having compassion for others, really! thanks for letting people know about the many offers, it helps them to eat better and if at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree, in this “Season of Giving”, please don’t forget those in need! In Eugene and Springfield this Saturday they are collecting items for homeless school age children! A great time to go through our stockpiles and share the items we’ve been blessed with to those who need it instead of having it sit on a shelf to expire! (the details are on 94.5 Mix FM website) I hope anyone in the surrounding area can help! Also Hosea Youth Services takes donations year round and you can look at their website to see the wonderful things they are doing and what items they so desperately need! Merry Christmas to all! 🙂
I love the comment that there are working families with very little…don’t qualify for assistance but barely scraping by…it’s rough! It’s all for the kids though, I think…I hope the deserving get a little something extra this Christmas season, when there are super good deals I stock up on toys when I can and love giving them at toy drives and to kids in my apartment complex. when did the leappad2 go on sale for $80? I just bought one a couple days ago and it wasn’t on sale. I used all my coupons and it was $77, just thinking I might have to go back and do some price adjusting
I think it’s the Vtech Innotab 2 that’s the $80 price. The LeapPad2 is $99.99 in their Holiday Toy Wish Book
In my store it is marked down to $79.99 also (Anchorage, AK)
The Leappad 2 is on sale hot $79.99. Use the 10% ad coupon and the 15% friends and family and it is only $61.19! Best price I have seen.

The $29.99 one will definitely be there — it’s a regular weekly sale item. The $19.99 is the one that may be at select stores.
If you ask the right clerk in that department, they should be able to phone the corresponding department in other FM stores to check for you.
