Nordstrom Fall Clearance Sale: New markdowns + our top picks

In addition to the traditional Nordstrom Half-Yearly Sales for men, women and kids, they’ve started running clearance sales a few times a year where they make mass markdowns in every department.  The Nordstrom Clearance Sale is one of my FAVE ways to round out my wardrobe for SO much less.

I’ve done some browsing and wanted to share with you some of my faves from the sale.  These tend to go FAST so if you see something you like, grab it now.

Lush Cross Front Oversize Tee — $22.80 + FREE shipping ($38 after sale)

Lush is one of my all-time favorite brands to order from Nordstrom. Great quality, flattering fit and super comfy.  This top comes highly rated!  All reviewers recommend sizing down.  Some say you need a cami or tank underneath, but some say it’s fine with a regular bra.  Would be cute with a bralette that’s made to be seen.

Bobeau Stripe Pocket Tee — $22.80 + FREE shipping ($38 after sale)

LOVE the stripe detail on this tee and LOVE this brand.  5% spandex so a comfortable, stretchy fit and comes in three colors.

Pleione Tie Back Tee — $28.80 + FREE shipping ($48 after sale)

Love that this is a quality, flattering basic tee from the front, with an awesome and fun detail in the back.  Nothing crazy or overly trendy that you won’t wear in two months because it’s so ridiculous, but just an extra unexpected detail that dresses up the basic tee just a little.  Pleione is a wonderful brand!

Caslon High Low V-Neck Sweater (Regular or Petite) — $35.40 + FREE shipping ($59 after sale)

This was recently reviewed by a well-known fashion blogger that I follow and she LOVED it.  It is the classic high-low style, which means longer in the back to help cover up any areas you are uncomfortable showing and makes for a more flattering fit.  The off-center stripes make more such a fun and unusual detail.   Depending on which color you get, there is either 5% cashmere or 5% alpaca, for a super soft feel.

Paige ‘Transcend – Bell Canyon’ High Rise Flare Jeans (Nottingham) — $89.90 with FREE shipping ($179 after sale; 50% off)

I KNOW. Expensive, but did you see the original price? This means that these jeans will transform your life because I’ve heard NOTHING but glowing reports about Paige. And the front rise is over 10″ which means it will smooth out any belly chub you’re struggling with.

Joe’s ‘Honey’ Curvy Skinny Jeans — $99.90 + FREE shipping ($189 after sale, 45% off)

Again, EXPENSIVE.  I know.  But this brand is so, so flattering and comfortable and if you struggle finding pants that fit and feel good and have tried less expensive brands, YOU KNOW.  These get incredible reviews from all age ranges.  Most do say they run a little small and will stretch some, so if between sizes, my recommendation would be to size down.

Tahari Seamed A-Line Dress (Regular and Petite) — $64 + FREE shipping ($128 after sale)

This dress comes in TONS of bright and super fun colors, perfect for perking up your work wardrobe or for wearing to holiday parties.  Comes very highly reviewed, but interestingly, is LOVED by those 50 and older but is only so-so for those younger than 50.

Reviewers say the material is a good weight, not too heavy or too thin.  The material is slightly stretchy and flattering and the pockets are well-placed.  Yes, this baby has pockets.  Add a statement necklace and a trench for the perfect evening outfit.

This highly-rated Thread & Supply Double Breasted Peacoat is just $37.90 + FREE shipping.  Less than $40 shipped for what over 500 reviewers are saying is an AMAZING coat!  More colors available here.

This coat is actually 35% wool instead of a knock-off fabric and reviewers say they were surprised by the quality for the price.  It is lined for extra warmth and comes in three perfect fall colors.

Most, if not all, reviewers recommend sizing up, some even say go up two sizes.  If you are unsure, returns are free as well, so you could always order two sizes to try.  For example, I normally wear between a 4 and 6 at 5’8″ and 165 pounds and I would honestly order an XL in this jacket.
