Most of these deals use a Safeway double coupon, which is available at Oregon & SW Washington (Wahkiakum, Cowlitz, Clark, Skamania & Klickitat Counties) Safeways only. You can double up to 4 manufacturer’s coupons per transaction, up to 50¢ each. The double coupon is found in the weekly ad at the bottom of the middle page and look’s like this:
Safeway stores are inconsistent from store to store with their double coupon policy. The following is taken directly from Safeway’s Just4U coupon policy on their website:

Anyone find the Quaker coupon?
Nope – looks like the Quaker coupon is regional and we didn’t get it in the Oregonian.
There is an amazing deal on the Nature Valley granola that is part of the buy 4 get $4 off. They are $1.99 when you buy 4, use -.75 coupon and doubler and pay .75 each. Then submit for $1 with Checkout 51 and $1 with Snap. With the Snap app you can submit up to 3 from one receipt. This makes for free or really cheap granola.
There’s also a .75/1 rebate on Saving Star for the granola!
Has anyone found the Quaker Oatmeal coupon? I’ve looked through that insert (Oregonian) probably 5 times and I can’t find it.

On the Dole pineapple – wouldn’t you have to buy 4 cans in order to use the $.50/2? Reading the coupon policy I have line 4. Coupons may not be applied against any free item received in any offer. Not trying to rain on anyone’s parade but I wasn’t sure if this rule applies?
You probably are right, but I’ve never ever had a problem using a cents off on 2 cpn on a BOGO promo. I bought 8 cans this morning, used 4 cpns (one $.75/2, three $.50/2) and doubler and paid 11 cents TOTAL. This debate comes up every so often on this blog. I always say that if the store would just sell the stuff for half price instead of making it a BOGO, then using a cents-off-on-two cpn would be a non-issue.
My not so special “just for U” price on the Cape Cod Chips is $2.48!

Good find. I’ve never had a problem using a cents-off-on-2 cpn on a BOGO deal, but it doesn’t always work, so I’ve heard. What rarely works is using two separate cents-off cpns on a BOGO offer.
Before anyone asks: the $.50 Dole cpns are in 2-1 SS. I also have one from Feb All You magazine, $.75/2.
