I just got one of the professional ones a couple of months ago. The model was just under $600. One thing I noticed was I was throwing away a lot less fresh fruits and vegetables since its so easy to make the smoothies with them that everyone loves. Another point is they make amazing margaritas with using fresh lemons and limes. I plan to use mine during the Super Bowl.
I am waiting for my current blender to buy so that I can justify one. I cannot wait!
