I am in a dinner rut. It always happens before the holidays. I just want to break off pieces of my kids’ gingerbread houses and hand out candy canes. But the people have spoken. They want real food. So, in the interest of keeping the peace and joy in our home, here’s what’s for dinner at my house this week:
Monday — Dinner with friends
Tuesday — Best Chicken Enchiladas, green salads
Wednesday — Hamburgers with Homemade Buns, Crispy Cornmeal Sweet Potato Fries
Thursday — The Best Lentil Salad, Ever (I plan to feed the picky little people mac n cheese)
Friday — Breakfast for Dinner: Waffles, baked eggs, fresh fruit
Saturday — Meatball Hoagies, potato chips with French Onion Dip
Sunday — Leftovers

We’ll be over for dinner on Thursday and Saturday! I printed out the recipes, just in case we can’t make it.
