I can’t speak about this particular brand of chickens, but once I learned a couple years ago that the supermarket-prepared whole chickens are only about 2 lbs, I stopped buying them. 5 to 7 bucks for something that might feed 2 people? For that price I can buy my own whole fryer 5-6 lbs, put my favorite spices on it, and make it feed a whole family. You pay a LOT for convenience!
