Is this deal still current? Going to Freds tomorrow and I wanted to know if these will still print or if they have stopped. Thanks!

There is a link above in the post explaining what catalina’s are. At the bottom of that post is the number for the cat company.

Catalina didn’t print for me today. I bought 3 Honey Bunches of o
Oats, is Catalina for a particular kind only?
Kate from Frugal Living NW says
Hm..it should have printed. Contact the catalina company to have them send you one in the mail. Super easy. The number is at the bottom of this post.

Weird! It didn’t print fir me either. 🙁 Currently on the phone w/ the cat. company. Great price on this and the ice cream…but I have spent almost an hour (maybe longer by the time I’m done) troubleshooting this. 🙁

Christy, Catalina is the marketing company that handles these promotions — hence the name.
A “Catalina” will print out after you’ve made a participating purchase, and can be redeemed for almost anything in a future purchase (I don’t know the specifics, but I think things like tobacco, alcohol, and postage stamps are excluded). Think of it as “wild card coupon.” For example, you could buy three boxes of cereal, get a $2 Catalina, and use that $2 coupon toward you next purchase of milk or produce or pretty much anything else!
The great thing about Catlinas is that they usually roll — meaning you could buy three boxes of cereal, pay $5, and get a $2 Catalina. In a separate transaction, you could buy another three boxes of cereal, use your $2 Catalina, and pay only $3 — plus receive another Catalina for another future purchase.
I hope you find this helpful!

“Get $1 Catalina” means “Get $1 off a Catalina salad dressing”? Or “Get Catalina salad dressing for $1,” or something else…?
