Most of these deals use a Safeway double coupon, which is available at Oregon & SW Washington (Wahkiakum, Cowlitz, Clark, Skamania & Klickitat Counties) Safeways only. You can double up to 4 manufacturer’s coupons per transaction, up to $.50 each. You may not double a coupon marked with “Do Not Double” or an internet printable coupon. The double coupon is found in the weekly ad at the bottom of the middle page and look’s like this:

Check your J4U, mine had a free InnovAsian entree for FREE. They are regular 6.99. I found mine in the frozen food isle by the asian foods. Yeah!
Yup, mine came in late last week. They send me emails just about every Friday with links to J4U for free stuff.

Also, check your J4U coupons, I had a $1 off Butcher’s Cut Grass Fed Ground Beef, so it makes it $4 for 1 lb instead of normally 7.99!!!
I was going to point out the same thing – there’s also a J4U on the Foster Farms Ground Turkey ($5 Friday, $1 off coupon).
Check your grass-fed beef package carefully; if it came from Washington or Colorado, it may contain an entirely different strain of grass!

Regarding the IP doubling policy, it appears Safeway is instructing stores to follow the online policy which has always allowed doubling IPs.
This issue has been debated online ad infinitum. Here’s the text of the store’s doubling policy. (When someone figures it out, please let the rest of us know. Preferably someone with a master’s or PhD, neither of which I possess.)
“Double coupon” promotions do not apply to any internet or digital coupons except for applicable internet printed manufacturer coupons.
Safeway’s famous for having conflicting terms. Only thing that’s new is the explicit green light for doubling IPs. I’m only passing the message. Best thing is to talk with your store managers and have them look into it if there’s an issue.
I shop at the rose city Safeway and they started doubling my IP’s s 6-8 months ago.

It probably was not there when she posted her comment 7-8. J4U doesn’t come up till early Wednesday; the weekly ad may well be the same. I get emails from Staples and Walgreens just about every Friday with sneak peeks at their Sunday ads.
