That’s amazing! I’ve been couponing for a while now, but I must not have Safeway figured out yet. I thought you could only use one doubler coupon a day. Are you able to use several in a day and just do several transactions? I’d love to be able to get deals like that!
You can use 1 dblr per day/transaction, and double up to 4 cpns. My problem is I don’t know how to get up to $50 worth of stuff and get the price down while only having 4 coupons doubled… so I end up making multiple smaller trips in a week.
The Safeway in downtown LO doesn’t even carry Little Debbie products. Disappointing .
That is fantastic! In the meantime, I went to two Safeways and could not find a Little Debbie donut bag at either one. I suggest getting a raincheck if your store is out too.
Howard – I know that you often visit the “new” Safeway on Barbur…I was there on Thursday and there were no Little Debbie donuts (or the Dole Fruit Squishems I was hunting for) but I was back there yesterday morning and they had appeared to have done a major restock – I counted 6 bags of the chocolate donuts and at least a dozen of the powdered sugar ones (on the little table display in the bakery area by the counter). Don’t know if they still have a stock today, but might be worth a try if you still had a hankerin’ for some free donuts 🙂
I used my coupons last week on other LD treats. They came out to about .29 for other varieties.
Thanks for the info, but I left town early 5-3 and won’t be back till late 5-10. I did get a raincheck, though.
