Can the $30 of P and G products for the $10 UP be made over multiple transactions or do I have to do it all in one transaction? Does anyone know how this works?
Definitely can be done over multiple transactions. The only type of deals like this that can’t are when the total you need is less than $10 (at least I think that is the amount-anyone correct me if I’m wrong), it hardly ever comes up because most of these deals are for $12+.
It is also something to think about if you are buying 3 (or any odd amount) of items on a BOG50% & you want to control which items are paired together-when you have the 20% discount-you may have a particular item you want to get the 20% off on.
I have this freshly on my mind-because even though I know this I forgot today on the revlon deal & ended up paying 1.77 more OOP! I recently learned too that the order the computer will match up BO50% is most expensive to least-so every other item will be the 50% off.

I was happy to find Revlon lipstick that was a little cheaper than Melody’s scenario above at $7.49. Ended up getting 2 lipsticks, 2 nail clippers, and 2 sets of emery boards for $2.44!
The store was out of Efferdent but made some money on the Clear Eyes and Freshguard. Rounded out the trip with Digiorno and Orbit. Pretty good week!
Only one bonehead moment when I told my sister to grab a Kit Kat since it was free this week with the Saving Star rebate. Unfortunately, she bought it on her card which does not have Saving Star attached to it, mine does. Oops.

I have been known to forget details I know better about also Brenda-have to try & think carefully to determine which card to put which item on & I don’t always think it all through correctly 🙂 I even forgot completely the past two weeks to get the free savings star items-missed 2 or 3! I did remember the kit kat yesterday though 🙂
Yeah, I haven’t been getting all of their freebies either. I usually skip it if it’s not sold at Rite Aid, can’t get motivated to get to Fred Meyer these days after a few bad trips. Have you noticed that the freebies don’t expire as quickly as they use to? When they first started they were only good through Sunday, but I think it’s Wed. or Thursday now.
No, some of the deals are still good only thru Sunday. The Kit-Kat and Oikos yogurt deals, for example. However, some of the others do go a few days longer. My Kit-Kat credit from Sunday already posted today to my acct; still waiting for Oikos from last week to post.
You’re right, I guess it was just the Starkist freebie that was available longer a couple of weeks ago. I got my Oikos credit a few days ago so yours should be coming soon!

Use the rite aid # of one of those family members, so you can still earn more money 🙂 If they don’t have a rite aid by them & have a card-you can get another one for your husband-or older children (don’t know how old they need to be exactly-the store can tell you), or a friend that has a card, but doesn’t coupon …
Unfortunatly the gillette proglide razors are not on sale at the 3 stores I went to(2 in beaverton, 1 in sherwood), darn. Wanted to get a good deal b4 they exp on 4/30. Did the oregonian not get the gillette disposable q? the hubby needs a shave…desperatly:)
I was looking at the schick deal today, which looks pretty good with the $10 coupon (buy a men’s Hydro & a cartridge-better if you have the 20% discount also) & then if you add a ladies hydro silk with the $4 coupon (3/23 SS & doesn’t expire until 5/3)-will get up to $30 for two +ups ($5/$15). Now I can also tell you the HIllsboro esplande store is out of all of the men’s.

Good news/bad news: as I more or less expected, I bought 3 DiGiorno pizzas for $7 (after cpns and UP reward) and got a $2 cat. So $5 for 3 (net). I believe Janene’s six would come to $10 net ($30 – $6 cpns – $1 VV – $10 UPs – $3 cat). If I had more freezer space, I’d buy 4 more ($20 – $4 cpns – $5 UP – $3 cat) for $8.
The “5” brand gum is not part of the $3 for 3 with $1 UP sale; I had the cashier scan and check it for me.

Nice on the DiGiorno! If people are buying 6 -believe it would be best to get 4, then 2-to maximize the cat & the coupons. For once it works out just right with the +ups!
i guess we cant print april VV coupons anymore? its the 27th and they are showing May VV already. is there anyway i can still print from aprils?
I haven’t confirmed what you said yet, but the VVs seem to be changing before the first of the month now. I just started using them 2 months ago. I now make a note to download every single one around the first of each month, then go back and print the ones I desire once I know I need them. (I turn the sound off and go back and forth between the VVs and other sites, to avoid sitting thru all those boring commercials.)
The monthly VV’s rarely follow the actual month, it’s like the monthly UpR’s or Walgreens monthly coupon book. It’s usually the last Saturday of the month that they are available through and they use the East Coast time so they are gone by 9pm our time.
I normally do what Howard mentioned and watch all of them very early in the month, but apparently forgot to do that this month. I got caught watching them last night when they switched over.

All true unfortunately! The previous month’s generally end the last Saturday of the month and the new q’s start the last Sunday of the month (or Saturday eve around 9 PM). I try to do as the others say and watch them all right away, but it doesn’t always happen. 🙁
I just saw that the Efferdent Coupons from 4/6 SS are expired (4/26) so you can’t use them 🙁

No worries about the Clear eye coupon, there’s a $1/1 coupon in the Oregonian SS this week. Just don’t chop off your finger while cutting coupons with your foggy eyes.
Efferdent coupon is in there as well since the 4/6 coupon expires today.

Thanks, but on some of the technology side I am! I am also quite proud that I recently figured out I CAN do checkout 51-my son assists me with the photo part. I could have done it your way too & take photos & download them, but have to admit I probably wouldn’t have gone to those lengths. If you have a family member/friend who has a smart phone-it is quick & easy for them to do.

Funny thing (well not to fellow couponers :-), but I know where everyone Rite Aid is for every city I ever visit. My family lives in Alaska, & sadly there aren’t any rite aid’s there.

I was going to post the same question/info about the pizza cat. I know FM has the DiGiorno cat offer running from 4-21 to 5-18. I’m not sure if catalinas always run in multiple stores simultaneously. The $5 UP may well be in lieu of the cat that FM is offering. Glad to see this offer, because I have $9 in UPs to use by Tues.
Also, the 4-6 SS Efferdent cpn expired today, but there’s another one coming Sunday.
Since I’m rolling over I’m going to just get 6 of the Digorno pizzas and use 3 $2/2 and a $1/2 get back a total of $10 in Up’s and will then find out about the catalina. Our freezer will be full of junk food ~ woo-hoo!

There is SOME chance that there is also a catalina on the DiGiorno pizzas. NOTE-NOT confirmed. There is in general one running 4/21-5/18 (buy 2 get $1, 3-$2 & 4-$3), but am not sure if it included rite aid. Anyone know for sure?

What Rite Aid did you shop at? Just curious since Im in McMinnville and they are kinda strict here.
I shop at Tigard/King City/SW Portland; Brenda in Vancouver; Charolyn in Hillsboro/Aloha; not sure about Janene, but I think Gresham. Regardless of the store, there should be no problem doing the DiGiorno deal, using any of the examples we’ve provided. You can legally combine RA cpns (in-ad or Video Values) with mfr cpns. Any catalina you receive can be used on the next purchase within the time limit, usually 14 days. Just make sure your chosen register has a catalina machine in working order, if there’s a known catalina deal.
