I didn’t see the Barbara’s in the ad – is it still on sale this week? I forgot to get a raincheck last week and I have some coupons I want to use still
Kate from Frugal Living NW says
It might not be. Good catch. I grabbed from last week hoping that it had carried over. I’ll have to check tomorrow to make sure.
PJ says
There’s a s/c for Hillshire farms smoked sausage 2/5 and a m/c for .75/2 – makes it 2.12 each. Seems like one could pick up these for a couple bucks but I’ve noticed in the last year, they have gone up a lot. Even Winco…. They make a great, fast dinner.

Smartsource had $1 off challenge butter coupon zipcode 49910. Would make butter $1!
Sue O says
Thanks for that tip! I will be stocking up majorly on butter this week.
Kate from Frugal Living NW says
What??? That’s awesome. I’ll see if I can find it too. And as Howard would call it ‘dumbsource’. We’ll see if it will print for me.
Howard says
The first Challenge link above told me I’d max-printed, but the 2nd allowed me to print 2. Now to find out if FM cashiers will accept a Redeem @ Walmart cpn.
Carol says
thanks, Howard; I did same procedure ). As long as coupon says Manufacturer’s coupon on top, should be good to go at any store that has Challenge products. Been there, done that 🙂
Howard says
Used the 2 “Walmart” $.55 cpns today. Couldn’t print the DumbSource $1 cpn yesterday. Burlingame store had $.55 blinkies, so I grabbed 2 and will go back later this week.
Kate from Frugal Living NW says
Thank for the feedback. Let’s hope it works.
Kirsten says
Butter at Safeway is $1.99 – good deal or not?
PJ says
It’s a decent price. Anything under $2, I will buy and throw in my freezer. Especially since I don’t use margarine. My Safeway was out last night and I got a rain check. I will definitely buy the challenge butter also with the coupons I printed out on coupons.com.
Kate from Frugal Living NW says
It’s good this time of year. Costco price is $1.79/lb if you have a membership. If you’re out of butter $1.99/lb is great. If you are stocking on butter than below $1.50/lb is good. Butter freezes great. I still have tons from Christmas.
Kirsten says
I bought a case when New Seasons had their sale but we’ve blown through it. I’m going to see how much I can get from FM this week. I was at Costco a month or so ago and I swear butter was more than $1.79, guess it’s time to check again.

Any chance there is an in ad fred meyer coupon for All-like 2/$5 or 2/$4.
Even if not it is still on sale for $2.99 & there are $2/2 coupons from 3/2RP.
Susan says
Yes! There is a tearstrip coupon 2/$5 for all or Snuggle
charolyn says
Excellent-thanks 🙂
PJ says
In ad coupon. 2/$5. Match with RP 3/2. 2/2. Then get rebate from checkout 51 for $1. Comes out to $1 each. There’s also a m/c that fred meyer mailed out with rewards for 1/1 that would make the purchase of one .50.
charolyn says
PJ-thanks for the checkout 51 tip!
I hadn’t done that before-but easily signed up & with my son’s help with his fancier phone & know how (mine is very basic & I have no app knowledge) ! Also there was a $2 introductory offer for any receipt since Thursday (which of course I had 🙂
Also for Rite Aid shoppers: if you buy by Wed-offers for windex, pledge & scrubbing bubbles. Match up with the catalina offer and monthly +up & manu coupons & scrubbing bubbles VV !! Has to be a great price-quite possibly a money maker (haven’t done the math yet).
Christy says
I think there are also 55 cent blinkies around for the Challenge butter.
Kirsten says
I saw one a few days ago and snagged 3 coupons from it 🙂
Sue O says
Ha, so did I! It seems like the time delay is longer than it used to be on the blinkies, because I got tired of waiting for it to reload after three.
Howard says
Time is money! Which is why I shop at warp speed.
