Last week I ran out and finally tried a diy deo recipe and, well, it isn’t working super well for me so I’m really needing my old faithful Tom’s 😉
I think this really varies by store, some will and some won’t even look at it. You could always call ahead and ask?
My favorite store will take them, but only if they scan correctly. They won’t override them, but it’s always worth a try. I like Melody’s idea of calling first, especially if you’re not nearby the store.

I love Checkout 51! It is easy to use.
I don’t have a smartphone and my printer/scanner is dead so I just take a picture of my receipt on my camera and plug it into my laptop to upload it that way. I love that you can use receipts from any place, not limited like Savingstar.

Started to figure it out today-the VV is for 2 items(scrubbing bubbles) -but only one offered on checkout 51, Pledge is not part of the monthly +up, definitely want to get two windex touchups as there are BOGO coupons-AND most of these have sale prices next week.
So I am thinking will need to do two rounds of +ups to maximize deals, get checkout 51 items this week (& there may be more offered for next week-which would match up with the Rite Aid sale prices better). Also personally I want cascade next week with sale prices (only part of +up, also $1.50 coupons in current P&G insert).
Lots of math to do!
RP 3/16 also has the “Try Me Free” rebate of up to $4.99 on Finish Powerball dishwasher tabs. Melody has 2 coupons listed; the VV is only for Powerball (not gel packs). So, two 20ct boxes for $6.49 (one is free) – $1VV – $.75 coupon – $4.99 rebate is a $.25 moneymaker!
Carolyn posted last week about a monthly $5+up on $10 of Dial products. I did her deal this week: 1 body wash $4.79 with 20% discount and 2 three packs of bar soap $2.71 each with 20% for a total of $10.21. The 3/16 RP has a $1 coupon for body wash or lotion and $1/2 for bar soap (exp 4/12). There is a limit of 2 rewards, so I plan to do this deal again because SavingStar also has a $5 on $15 rebate (exp 4/23). If it works as planned, my total should be $20.42- $4 in coupons – two $5 plus ups and – $5 Saving Star rebate, so all six products for $1.42.
Gosh-I even forgot about the savings star-& I have it loaded also! (thanks for cluing me in)-that is REALLY a great deal now.
I just updated with a great Garnier scenario, with hair care products just $.74 each!

Good chance the pampers, secret & gillette will count towards the P&G free magazine/$5 reward-check the bottom of your receipts & report back (also anything else that is discovered).
Secret does count for the P&G extra discount-I bought one ladies & one mens clinical deodorants. The ladies comes out even less with the 20% discount.
this is the lowest price I have ever gotten the clinical deodorant for (figuring in the P&G refund also)!

There’s a $4 printable children’s claritin coupon out there. I just printed them out sometime last week. Does anyone know what a good price to buy these at is? (This’ll be my first couponing allergy season 😉 and I sure am looking forward to it since it’s a daily thing for little guy and adds up so fast!)

I don’t seem to see the $1 Colgate mouthwash cpn in 3-30 SS Oregonian. Also, Oregonian didn’t get the 3-16 Stride gum cpn.
Howard, you’re right, I couldn’t find it in either the Oregonian or the Columbian’s, although there is one in the 3/9 SS but it expires today……we r out of luck on both sides of the river…
I have a -$2/2 Colgate Total toothpaste, toothbrush or mouthwash that I printed off Coupons.com a while back. It expires on the 9th.

Charolyn—Orbit is on sale at Target this week! The three packs are 2.04 each, buy 2 get 1 free. So 3.33 for 9 packs of gum.
I looked this morning and didn’t see that one. 🙁 But by chance I found a $2/2 cpn in my cpn box for any Colgate paste or mouthwash. It came in a Fred Meyer mailer that I get every month or so. They contain mostly mfr cpns with a FM logo at the bottom that I conveniently cut off so I can use them wherever I choose.
Oh, good call. I have those from Fred Meyer too. How do you cut the logo off without cutting the barcode that’s on the back?

I have 3 of the FM books (all different) in play right now. The FM logo is on the bottom of the cpn and the UPC on the side. One quick snip and you can use it anywhere.
Oh, I just have one book and the logo on the front covers half of the barcode on the back. Good suggestion to keep in mind for the future!
