Lots of great deals this week at Rite Aid! This is the deal scenario of a girl who gets one lonely very regional Sunday paper that rarely comes with the high value coupons to get us the very best deals. I work with what I got, people!
Purchased:
(3) Purex Laundry Detergent on sale B1G2 $5.99/$0/$0
(2) o.b. Tampons $2.50
Reach Toothbrush $2.99
(2) Double Crisp Easter Basket Stuffers $1
Used $1.50/2 Purex coupon
Used (2) $1/1 o.b. coupon
Used $1/1 Reach coupon from 1/26 SS insert
Used $1/1 Purex Rite Aid Video Values store coupon
Total spent: $10.48
+UP Rewards Received: $5
Final price: $.68 per item after all coupons and rewards!
There are so many ways to make drugstore coupon shopping work for your family, even if you don’t have 10 coupons to get ALL the free items. I just do a small stock-up trip each week to pick up the free or super cheap item and rarely have to pay full price for our toiletry items.
Rite Aid is also running a great sale on Suave hair and skin care products this week, but it was hard to tell what we should get without any listed prices in the ad. I ran in to the store to check on a few things, so I could whip up a deal scenario for you. All Suave products are BOGO 50% off and you will receive a $2 +UP Reward when you spend $6.
Purchase:
Suave Moroccan Infusions Body Lotion (18 oz) $5.29
Suave Natural Infusions Shampoo or Conditioner $1.99 after 50% discount
Use $2/1 Suave Moroccan Infusions Rite Aid eCoupon
Use $1.50/1 Suave Naturals Infusion coupon
Pay $3.78, Get $2 +UP
$.89 each after coupons and reward
Let us know if you’ve come up with any other great scenarios!

Important note on the Suave deal:
(which, by the way-even though I heard about this recently-totally forgot about this week & made a big mess of it today!! fortunately I was at the nice store & they were very gracious with my 2 returns 🙂
+up deals do NOT track for amounts less than $10 (I think that is the top tracking limit)-I do know for sure the suave +up does NOT track!
I had two beautiful scenarios today & neither worked because of this.
Note too that the coupons are limit of 2 per type -so will need to mix up your items to be able to definitely use all the coupons you want to at once!!

On the suave deal so far I got 2 kids shampoos & 2 kids tangle free hair spray-with the $1 coupons = $8.06-$4 coupons-$2+up=$2.06
& I have $2.06 towards my second +up. I was hoping to find kids body wash-but haven’t so far-have one more store to try tomorrow & if not will get some adult shampoos. Great prices-especially on the tangle free-rare to find that on sale.
I will confess I didn’t notice that this coupon is a limit of two identical ones per shopping trip-I bought all 4 at once & should have broken it into two purchases.

Good deals on the kid’s products. I haven’t found the kids’ body wash at the stores around here. Did you happen to notice the last Reach coupons did not say “limit 1 per person”? They usually always say that so I was excited when I could actually use 2 in one transaction! It’s hard to catch all of the fine print when it’s different for each company, even for us “seasoned” couponers!

Yes there is a lot of fine print-I haven’t been able to print manu coupons for some time, so haven’t gotten the reach ones. I did have one on my load2card & am still looking for the 2 packs to be in stock, as I have the load2 on them also.
I have one more store to check-which is the largest in the area, so sometimes they have items the smaller ones don’t.
I don't shop at Walmart says
I believe that coupon for Purex is not used correctly. It used on free item.

At rite aid-as long as it is one coupon-even if it is for several items-it can be used on a BOGO (or this case BOG2). You could not use more than one coupon however-for example if the coupon was 1.50/1 you could only use one.
