Cashiers at my FM just change the amt of the coupon so it doesn’t exceed the price I paid. That stinks that some cashiers just flat out turn it down. 🙁
My snapware coupons always get denied because it’s a few cents less than the coupon. I shop the fishers landing Fred Meyer and they have never let them go through. I think Adriana got lucky their using the razor coupon.
That’s the store I shop, and I had trouble this morning. “My” favorite checker was swamped so I went to the new guy. (really new- never saw him before)
He was yelling over to the “favorite” checker how to do the transaction. She told him how but he kept ADDING $2.49 instead of taking it off! I told him that was wrong b/c the total should come DOWN – not go UP! 🙂
I ended up just having him take them off completely.
Went to Safeway where they are $3.29 Used the $3 coupons with Doubles (she took .50 for each Double) = FREE!!
I normally don’t have problems there. My favorite store!
Today I got 2 razors with out problem. I think the cashiers get nervous when they see that they will own you money, so every time when I have coupons higher than the product’s price, I just grab some fruit or vegetables and I have not problems. By the way, there were plenty of them at FM on 164th, Vancouver.
Even if the razors can be found, haven’t people had issues at FM with cpns that exceed the sale price? Love Terry’s comment, although it didn’t leave a pretty picture in my mind’s eye.
Thanks for the quick peek at some great deas. Just got back from Freds, not a bic razor left on the hook and the size restriction for the $1 Speed Stick coupon does not match the size that is on sale for $1. Success was had with Litte Debbie & Herbal Essence. So I’ll be a stinky, hairy, chocalate eatin, clean headed mama. Won’t my hubby b so happy coming home to that!
