You can double up to 4 manufacturer’s coupons per transaction, up to $.50 each. You may not double a coupon marked with “Do Not Double” or an internet printable coupon. The double coupon is found in the weekly ad at the bottom of the middle page and look’s like this:

Caro says
A little late on this – but, one can call the Oregonian and ask for the Food Day to be delivered on Tuesday. One can do this even if one doesn’t have the Oregonian delivered.
Adriana says
Good deal on Kraft Mayo, it’s on sale $1.99
use $.75/1 cpn from 3/9 SS insert (I got it on Wednesday )
$ 1.24 each after cpn
I think it is ND but my cashier did it so I paid $.74 each!
Lori says
I can’t find the Yoplait coupons
Howard says
The high-value cpns often don’t last long. However, if you go to coupons.com, register/login and use zip code 77477 (show your home state as TX on your profile), you might still find these.
patty k says
Katu just reported Albertsons parent company buying Safeway.
I’m in mourning
sara says
I heard that too. I’m hoping the two stores remain separate as they are now.
Brenda says
The article I read said there are no plans to close any stores, change the names or fire any employees but we’ll just have to wait and see what happens.
I sure hope they don’t mess around with the Just for You program, I feel like I’m just starting to get the hang of it!
Howard says
Oh, I thought the Just 4 You program was just for ME. Liars!
My daughter works at Safeway pharmacy; I hope her job won’t go away. King City (Tigard) has Safeway and Albertson’s right near each other; can’t imagine both will remain open. I’m sure other areas have the same situation. My first reaction upon seeing the news online last night was “Goodbye Doublers.”
Brenda says
Hahaha!!!! that was actually my first reaction as well but thought it was too silly to mention it.
Kathy from Washington says
Down in California Two stores merged and they were right across the street from each other and stayed for years. I could not understand why. Illogical. But it has happend
Heather says
The Ragu deal says 3/9 Red Plum? Did you mean 2/9? I am not finding it.
Cheryl says
Lol, i think she means that it is coming out this upcoming Sunday which is the 9th. I had to do a double take on that too. She is foreseeing the future
Erica says
There is a $10 off of $50 on the back of the Food Day section. It is a different layout than usual. It’s on the back left side, L12 is the page.
Jess K says
I definitely did not get the $10 off $50 q in my Wednesday paper delivery. I get 3 copies of the Oregonian and none of them had a Food Day in them at all today. Sad day. 🙁 I wonder if they ever have extra copies at the customer service counter?
Sara says
I’ve had success contacting The Oregonian and getting what was missed. My carrier brought the sections of the paper that I missed. It’s worth trying.
gloria says
Is there anything that we who receive the Beaverton Leader or the Wednesday Oregonian on Wednesday can do to get the 10/50 coupon to use on the first Tuesday. We used to have that option when FoodDay came out on Tuesdays. I looked at a Tuesday Oregonian and it didn’t seem to have it in….This just doesn’t seem fair.
Brittany from Frugal Living NW says
I thought the Wednesday Oregonian had the $10/$50 coupon. It doesn’t?
Brittany from Frugal Living NW says
Make sure you aren’t looking in the ad. The coupon will be on the last page of the “food day” section.
superjaz says
I’m with you . I think some areas still get the freebie Tuesday ad paper, but I don’t think Beaverton does any more (like they used to have then on a rack near my apartment managers office) a few Weeks before the new Wednesday deliver started they stopped having them there.
I get delivery so I have to wait until Wednesday to get it
gloria says
exactly….you used to be able to look at the ad that was ending and the ad that was starting the next day, Wed, and decide in which week you wanted to use the coupon. Now, the lucky people that get it Tuesday have that option and the rest of us who have Wednesday delivery of whatever paper we get the $10/50 in, don’t have that option any more.
gloria says
perhaps we could find a Wednesday Oregonian on the news stand on Tuesday night, and pay $1 to get the coupon. Maybe the early edition, if there even is one, has the $10/50 coupon in it.
superjaz says
With some of the sales could be worth it.
Deborah says
Clump & Seal Cat Litter is $5.99 with the ad coupon. Use the $3.00 manufacture/double coupons and the litter is just $2.49.
Brenda says
Double check the sizes that are on sale. I was excited to do this deal last Friday but my store only had the 14 lb boxes of Clump & Seal and the coupon says 19 lb. or larger.
Sondra says
My $3 Clump & Seal coupon says any one box, no size restrictions.
Brenda says
Wow, I wish mine didn’t!
Sondra says
Brenda – Here is the link that was emailed to me. I don’t know if it was a one time print just for me or if it will work for you as well.
http://coupons2.smartsource.com/smartsource/index.jsp?Link=YU24FFBCBXECQ
Brenda says
Thank you so much, Sondra! I was able to print it twice from your link. The coupon that I was referring to that has the size restrictions came from the weekly newspaper inserts.
Sondra says
Brenda – I found another link so you can print 2 more.
http://coupons2.smartsource.com/smartsource/index.jsp?Link=L2PB37JR2WN56
Brenda says
Woohoo!
These will go perfectly with the $10/$50 coupon this week!
Thanks so much!
Cheryl says
I wondered about the size on the CLump seal variety. Smaller than the others, but with that great coupon…worth it i think
Brenda says
I aim for .20 -.30/lb.in cat litter for a stock up price. I’m a bit picky to what I’m willing to use (or rather my cats are!)
With the $3 coupon from Sondra’s link it will make it .21/lb. so a great deal for me! I haven’t used this new variety yet, but like the other Arm & Hammer litters.
Howard says
My cpns also specify 19 lb. I went to the store today and they didn’t even carry this item, at least not on the cat litter shelf.
Brenda says
You might look around at other locations, I’ve only spotted it in 1 Safeway in the Vancouver area. Both Target and Walmart carry the bigger sizes but not at a price that I”m willing to pay, even with the high value coupon.
I would encourage you to print the litter coupons that Sondra posted above but they are from Smartsource and I know you two don’t get along well!
Howard says
Tried another Safeway. Sold out of the 14-lb, $6.99 litter; $14.99 for the 28-pound size. Didn’t see any 19-lb packages or shelf tags for that size. I try to stay in the 25-cent per pound range, so $3.99 net for 14 lbs isn’t too far over that.
But I refuse to even attempt to print a DumbSource cpn.
My $3 cpns specify 19-lb or more. Also have a $1 one for any size.
Brenda says
I finally got a rain check for the sale price because I think they should be getting that size in all the stores eventually.
Have you checked out the claims on this new cat litter? Not sure if I believe it, I think the higher price is to pay for the fancy box!
Jeff says
I didn’t see the 10 off 50 in the Oregonian? Did I miss it?
sara says
I believe the Oregonian has it in their Wednesday paper.
Heather says
There’s a $10 off $50 in today’s Columbian.
michelle says
anyone know if the $10/$50 safeway q is in today’s paper?
Brittany from Frugal Living NW says
Yes. I even wrote about it at the top of the post. 🙂 I guess it’s easy to skip over.
khrysthyne says
might want to fix the huggies one..lol
Luvs Diapers (jumbo pack) on sale $5
Use $1/1 coupon – direct link or $1/2 coupon from 3/2 P&G insert
$.63 each after coupon
Brittany from Frugal Living NW says
Haha, yes thank you.
