Listerine 21-Day Challenge
Listerine is once again hosting a 21-Day Challenge, an initiative to brush, floss and rinse with LISTERINE® Antiseptic twice a day for 21 days and I’m participating! I know that taking care of your teeth usually translates into lower dental bills, so I’m game. I always brush twice a day, but flossing is less frequent and I’ve never been a mouthwash girl, so I’m excited to see the difference in how my teeth feel after three weeks of consistent Listerine use.
I headed to Target to pick up my Challenge supplies:
- LISTERINE® Antiseptic
- LISTERINE® SMART RINSE®
- LISTERINE® WHITENING® Original Gel Fluoride Anticavity Toothpaste
- REACH® Floss
I found a $1/1 peelie coupon on the Listerine Antiseptic (boom!). There are also a number of Listerine coupons at the Healthy Essentials website. You can find all these products at Target.com.
Everyone who takes this challenge also helps children in need. Post a “Swish Selfie” to Listerine’s Facebook page and Listerine will make a $5 contribution to Oral Health America’s Smiles Across America program (up to $85,000) toward their goal of connecting 210,000 children with needed oral health services in 2014.
I’m excited to see how the Listerine 21-Day Challenge encourages me to form some better oral health habits! I’ll do an update at the end of my 21 day challenge and hopefully post some of my family’s Swish Selfies!
This is a sponsored post. I received a Target gift card to purchase LISTERINE® Brand products from Johnson & Johnson Healthcare Products Division of McNEIL-PPC, Inc. and The Motherhood as part of my participation in the LISTERINE® 21-Day Challenge.

So glad that you’re getting on the dental healthier bandwagon, and great that they are supporting children in need! I am glad that they finally make Listerine Zero and is an alcohol free mouthwash. Regular Listerine has the highest content, and as alcohol is an astringent, can cause more issues of dry mouth in people already suffering w/ dry mouth. Also, although it touts being just as good as brushing, mouthwash will never be as effective as brushing and flossing. Hope you can try the AF version!!
For people who are not partial to flossing, try flossing while in the shower. If you have it available, floss while you get a nice water massage on your back. 🙂
Sorry – 15 years of assisting and talking through oral care with patients, old habits of being against Listerine as the go-to mouthwash die hard. I am thankful that they are reaching out and giving back! And, good luck on your 21 day challenge.
