This is not your ordinary cookbook. The authors come up with a very well thought out plan for tackling a large quantity of perishable chicken in a logical manner offering invaluable suggestions regarding planing, the order of events, information on freezing and preparation.
The recipes are well laid out with thorough, easy to follow directions. There is a very nice variety of marinades that covers many flavor spectrums and entices me to try new ideas. There are worksheets in the back that will be very helpful for planning. We all try to keep too much information in our brains and this will keep us from those expensive, last minute jaunts to the store. Organizing our meals and creating a master shopping list will encourage us to be more frugal and perhaps select a different recipe that would allow us to shop our pantry rather than the store.
