Most of these deals use a Safeway double coupon, which is available at Oregon & SW Washington (Wahkiakum, Cowlitz, Clark, Skamania & Klickitat Counties) Safeways only. You can double up to 4 manufacturer’s coupons per transaction, up to 50¢ each. The double coupon is found in the weekly ad at the bottom of the middle page and look’s like this:
Safeway stores are inconsistent from store to store with their double coupon policy. The following is taken directly from Safeway’s Just4U coupon policy on their website:

Finally a good week at Safeway. One note – the Nabisco Snack Crackers price of $1.66 only kicks in after you buy 3 (3 or more), so you’d need to buy at least 4 boxes with the .75/2 coupon to get the price shown above.

There’s also a .50/1 m/c available for the Hefty bags that if you double and stack with the s/c should be free. I’m pretty sure one of the latest inserts have a Tillamook m/c for $1 off 7oz or larger, I think.
Thanks for the tip on the Hefty bags, Peege. Cpn is in 11-1 RP, valid on 12-count or larger sliders. There’s also a $.50/1 printable, but it’s listed as a DND. I assume the $.99 price will also be on the J4U site for download to my card.
Read the ad today. Only the Hefty storage bags are $.99, not the freezer ones. 10-22 count. The Sunday paper cpn is on 12-count or higher. The quart-size should be the 22-count.
My coupon was $2/3-also 12+ count, so with the double = .50/3.
The Hefty freezer bags are included. Got four yesterday with the $.50/1 cpn and dbl.
I went to two Safeways today, and both storage and freezer bags are included, even though the in-ad J4U cpn states storage bags. The 2nd store (Raleigh Hills) had only one type left, the 10-ct, 1-gallon freezer bags, but the $.50 cpn worked. Barbur store had all 4 types left.
